I actually went light on the sage.  By light and dark grind, you mean white meat and dark meat?

You got a lot, A LOT, of good stuff goin' on up there, Jeff.
Blueberries. You ought to try a hot sauce with them. A BBQ joint down here, pairs them with chipolte to great affect.
I think some of my J Nard seed came from you and I got a cross in them. A REALLY good cross. One plants has thrown out some huge, almost flat pods that are very nice. Cipollinis look nice. I had trouble with the Boretannas wanting to divide before the tops died.

Blueberries in a Chipotle style or dark colored Tamarind/Raisin based hot sauce or bbq complements nicely

I think I need a bigger plate.  From Eggplant Parmesan, turkey sausage, pickle salad, tomato salad, and coleslaw.  Peaches are for dessert.

Got 1 3/4 inches of rain this morning and I think more is coming.  Humidity is about 99% and dewpoint is over 70.  I think I heard the storms that just left Chicago was dropping 2 inches an hour.

can confirm, had a 30 min batch of rain and dropped over an inch of rain just west of chicago. Most likely closer to 1.5 inches

Cherry tomatoes are finally producing more than I can eat.

Threw a dozen or so of my smaller cipollini onions in my gallon jar of refrigerator pickles...will see how they are in a week.

My tallest okra plant is now over 8 feet high.  I am going to need a ladder soon to pick these.

Limo Rojo is starting to color

Wow, when we get that much rain we get serious erosion. We're on a ridge with a decent grade.

And the sandy mix just has to help out the drainage.

Chicago, or some part of it, set a record with 4 inches in one hour and at one spot they got 1.8 inches in 17 minutes.  You could almost swim in that rain.

20 some years ago I left work early too see my son play tee ball, it rumbled the whole time and on the way home it rained so hard I couldn't see our road. I drove home looking at the fences on our country road, and really slow. It rained over 4"s in less than a half hour. This was before I terraced the place, the garden had a trench cut by the erosion that was deep enough for two people to lie in on top of each other and cover with 6"s of dirt before being level.

Ha....funny your should mention, we did get around 4" of rain overnight....nice, ...there was also a great lightning show....nice......and the power stayed on......really nice !
Here's a shot after work today......I swear the plants grew a couple inches......and the pods are ripening, once again.......

Whoa man great updates. Things are moving too fast around here these days. Great looking habs. I am working on getting some of those big suns isolated for you... it's been a little picky about setting pods. There's still time though. If not I'll send you some OP.
