+ 1 on the poddage
He's almost big enough to fry!

You run a top notch jungle, Jeff.
Walleye are starting to run here. A buddy caught a 14" about a half mile from my house last week. They have to be  18" to keep in VA.
I'm not much of fisherman(I'd probably just get addicted) but we're going on a short paddling trip weekend after next and hope to get into some stripers.

And you're right about onions. They are a piece of work.
My pot  of cippolinis that I up-potted are OK, but not stellar, I'll find a place for them some where. The next two pots of yellow onions aren't  amounting to much; I might get a few scrawny starts from a whole packet of seed. I had some leftover seeds from fall of bunching onions. They might make some little starts. I think keepping them clipped makes them more manageable under artificial lights. Cooler temps might also keep them firm and stocky. I gonna do something different next year. Just glad I order starts to hedge my onion bet this year.

Finished potting up round two tray and it looks like I didn't need to do any germ trials behind the wood stove.

Out of the tray I planted the ones that didn't pop are:

2 cherry bomb
2 La Rouge
1 Jimmy
1 Giant Thai

That is not too bad out

I noticed last night that one of the germ baggies was rooting, so now I get to see how many of those are rocking and how bad over on plants I am going to be.

Its official....I need help.  Each baggie of germ trials I had going on, I saved five seeds into a 3 1/2 inch pot.  They were germing like there was no tomorrow.  So if those all make, and I hope they don't, I'm looking at 35-40 more plants.

The good news, if it is good news, is I did gain another pepper to try out of this germ deal...Limo Rojo.

Had the Def Leppard song going through my head, but instead of pyromania, I have peppermania!!!

I can't wait to see you plant out Jeff!

Better start working out to get in shape for all that work! LOL I know you'll be lovin' it!

here's to warmer weather your way!

The peppers in the gallon pots are in the "I look ugly" phase.  I am going to work on getting the OW out so I can spread them out a bit.  Really makes it hard to get good pics and to stay on top of things when they are like this.

Red onions are popping up well right now.  I think using a one gallon pot is the way to go on these.

Ground cherry plants are up and they sure are tiny stalked.  Not sure if this is normal or not.

These new varieties of tomatillo plants are growing super fast.  Two days out of the ground and the biggest one hit the top of the dome.  Don't even have first set of trues yet.  Crazy.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

It's rough when things start getting crowded. Tough calls have to be made... They herd whipped into shape. Still, it's a great testament to the greenness of you thumbs that you've got such a tasty surplus.

Can't wait till plantout. Stay strong Bud!

And to top it all off, it was a near white out here today lol  Nothing stuck, but I sure wish old man winter would crawl into his hole for the duration.

I'll be following the ground cherry grow with interest.

I hear you on the tomatillos. They sprouted straight up for me too. I planted them deep when I put them in 3.5" pots and that seemed to help, but they are still taller than even the tomatoes that I started at the same time.

Interesting

The red bunching onions from a few days ago.  I think the gallon pot is the way to go on these.  Two types of reds here.

Not sure if you remember how bad my red brain strain OW was looking about a month ago.  I pulled it out of the grow room and stuck it upstairs in the dining room.  It is doing much better now.

Could use a bump please.

So I moved all my OW up into the dining room.  This freed up one shelf and the top of the grow table in the grow room.  I used the table top to spread out my existing gallon pots so more air can circulate around them.  The shelf that is now open, I am in the process of potting up some 3 1/2 pots into gallons to go on that shelf.

My three OW 7 Pot Burgundy plants.

I moved the 4 trays of onions to the table where the OW started the winter at.  It is still a little cooler than I would like to have the OW sitting at right now.

After potting up all of my 3 1/2 that were ready, here is how the shelving situation looks.
