Joyner's Hot Pepper Powders 2014 GLOG

As of now here is the somewhat final list for the 2014 growing season...the 7 pot red has a question mark because I am waiting to see if I can use a 1/2 acre in Va of my uncles and isolate. It is very hard to leave over 100 different varieties in the seed bin and not grow them all out!

Best of luck to everyone and I plan to get seeds started in the next few days.

Lot's to pick!

I grew Thai's and Cayenne's last year, not this year. I don't have the patience to pick a million pods every 4 days...LOL :shh:

70's days and 60's nights...[pods exploding!

I really need to fill my feeders, I hunt here at my place by looking out the kitchen window. Once I see a buck, I'll go out and try for him the following weekend. None showed last season, but the year before my "hunt" lasted one sip of coffee. I was out there 3 minutes. I do get to really hunt after the new year at a ranch, no one wants to kill does, and he has a ton! So I volunteer!

Thanks for your take on the Choco-Bhuts Chris... I may need to try some of those next year.  Glad to see your Thai forest doing so well! Mine are finally coming through now... the Red Demons came through a couple of weeks ago, and the Prik Leuangs are just starting to color up now. I've been making curry pastes with them and freezing them for the winter. When I get enough of that, I'll probably dry the rest for flakes and Mussaman curry paste.   Thanks for opening my eyes to the possibilities of the Thai peppers!

Holy placenta those are beautiful! Sweet and crazy looking pods Chris. The couple of BBG7 I grew this year from CCN have the right pheno but pods have all been very small. Nasty heat but small throughout the entire season. Might overwinter 1 to see if there's a change or might just start fresh from seed
