Had to do something with the leftover brisket.

Sliced some onion and sauté it in some oil.  Then I tossed in the cubed brisket, some worcestershire sauce and some hot sauce and let it get happy for a few minutes.  Served on a corn tort with Buddy's taco sauce, some sour cream, jalapeños and cheese.
Idea stealer ;) I will post a crappy picture of some burnt end tacos later...

I always feel silly later in the week when I'm sitting on all of the brisket leftover's ...

It's something I usually just eat straight up on a plate, hot, and fresh ...

The tacochanga's were fully awesome, though ...

And nobody followed suit, but the brisket w/ burrata and scotch bonnet powder was awesomely decadent ...

This is the go-to:
So i have tasted both dolce and piccante (i suppose we can call sweet the first and sharp the second, thoung piccante means hot... Thoug i personally can translate to "piking"). Yeah, really good, it's just to take advantage of sales or right places cause it's overpriced (ok that it's good, but it costs quite more than an aged Grana Padano that in my eyes is a nobler cheese, though maybe less versatile).

Btw i am going to post here that...
Not really leftovers, but pasta expired yesterday, squacquerone was a leftover from yesterday (though still sealed). Onion was really a leftover... So i had to cook pasta and eat squacquerone...
I already know that this is not a very known cheese... It has a sour taste, like stracchino and crescenza but probably it's the best of all those (also overpriced...).
Until now the classic combo arugola, prosciutto di Parma and squacquerone is for me the best for piadine (that i ate yesteday so i had that cheese as leftover).

Squacquerone, some basil (not much leaves because i still haven't, i just picked the worst looking of my small but growing plants), homegrown garlic, a bit of onion. And bought tomato.
That tomato is incredible. Just anonyomus store bought... It's some of the best i've ever had, beating many homegrown... Spectacular. It's sweet.

Squacquerone in detail, it's soft and creamy.

Some fancy orecchiette (i know Pookie is going to like that!).

A fast pan fry, i didn't want to cook too much.
Powered with red moruga.

Added squacquerone at the end.

Really good, but next time no onion and much more basil!

Are you kidding me?  That is leftovers?  I have never made pasta that sexy in my life.
To tell the truth it wasn't a true leftover... Maybe pasta thread was more appropriate. Btw thanks!
