wanted Looking for Fatalii, 7-Pot and Trinidad Scorpion Seeds

If anyone has these seeds available, please let me know. I just lost my entire crop of Bhut's, and I'm looking to try again with a more diverse spread.

I'd gladly pay for the seeds and shipping, provide a SASE, whatever I need to do.

Thank you!

Did you start all of you seeds at once?

I never do. I always leave some back in case I screw up and have to start another batch of seedlings.

My .02

I did. Chalk it up to this being my first time.

I tried growing 7pod and Trinidad Scorpion seeds this season and must say that I am less than satisfied with the results - very slow growers, they seem to be more susceptible to aphids than any of the other varieties I grew, very slow to bud - don't think I'll bother with them ever again. I had seeds from two different sources for each variety with the same result.

Lol, good info chilliman, but he seems undaunted!

I have all of those growing inside right now, the scorpion seems to be a slow grower, but the 7 pot seems to be taking off.

My pride and joy is AJ's Dorset Nagas. They are so freaking bushy and big leaved.

Careful with the Dorset :mouthonfire:, hottest of the naga's ive tried so far

You are the undisputed final word on this as far as whole chili eating goes but the Dorsets aren't as hot as the Naga Morich. I think they seem hotter to you is because they are bigger in size than the Morichs and, therefore, contain more capsicum overall.

and also remember, unless all the different varieties of the superhots are grown under the same conditions and treated the same, you simply can not make a direct comparison IMO...

I simply will not eat a whole fresh pod of any of them but with the varieties I am growing this year, I will try small slices of each and make a decision based on that for what ever that will be worth...

I am anxious to compare the following:

Dorset Naga
Naga Morich
Bhut Jolokia
Bih Jolokia
Trinidad Scorpion
7 Pot
Devils Tongue
Fatalii

I am sure all of these will absolutely burn me up....

guys you making me jalous, carnt wait to try my own got my dorset/african nagas in just had some fatali(yellow) and orderd some red..how easy are the 7 pod to germinnate compared to the nagas (secretly looks up 7pot on chileman.org to Sound Kewl ;))and whats the heat like :onfire:

And even then it doesn't mean that you're growing each one in their ideal conditions, although they should have very similar
needs.

potawie those photos of yours are indeed chili porn, youve got some fine plants your red savina harvest had my mouth watering,do your nagas over-winter ok ?:)

Glad you enjoyed the pics. I've never overwintered a naga but my scorpion is doing ok, although the aphids really liked it.
7-pot seeds shouldn't be any more difficult to germinate that the nagas or other hotties.

tx for the advice..as for the aphids, its one of my biggest worrys, have you magic formuyla to keep them at bay as using chemicals would be a last resort for me :(

ladybugs are your best bet but they aren't very active in the winter. When an overwintered plant goes semi-dormant there is very little new growth for the aphids to feast on. A good soap spay and/or pyrethrum insecticides can also help with small infestations.

thank you POTAWIE,have printed the advice of for later use(well i can Hope i dont need it but that would be wishful thinking:)
