Is it just me or is there something ironic about saying living in LA can make you stupid, then posting a picture of a millionaire from Louisiana?

Compairing cactus to trumpets or other plants is wrong,BIG TIME.
 
Cactus do not have the same stuff in them as Datura type plants.
 
The chemicals that cause the high in 1 thing is nowhere in the same ballpark as another.
 
I ,at one time researched a lot of stuff the American Indians used to use along with what was used in Mexico/S.America - Curanderos.
 
Played with some things when they were still legal.
 
5MEODMT was insane,Super intense high BUT it lasted only a very very short while.
Was good for about 3 different highs at 1 toke a piece.
GREATEST buzz was a really big first hit-the 2 others were nasty-chasing the original buzz(not gunna happen).
You had to wait days before you could get off on it again.
Was really nasty tasting,like smoking plastic,WAS really cool to use with certain other things.
I never had enough to eat,But I heard that combined with other stuff it was GREAT.
Lots of plants have a lot of things in them if you want to get a buzz on.
 
It kinda sucks these days.People just want to get baked.
 
When I first did Payote,it was on the rez.,a ritual.
We fasted and did rituals before we went out and collected our buttons.
VERY COOL TRIP!
 
When I latter did it for recreational purposes it wasn't as cool.
The head wasn't there.
 
I did a lot of trips to the reservation for a few years.
I liked Peyote best but did several different plants that were either OK or SUCKED BIG TIME for whatever reason.  LOL
 
I'd stay AWAY from Daturas or similar plants that produce similar chemicals.
They can be VERY nasty.
 
Just wondering IF ONLY Mushrooms might do the brain cell thing...
 
What about similar chemicals in the same group or whatever,Could it NOT be a chemical thing BUT a part of the bodies way to deal with stuff.
Maybe a train of thought was the key-MAYBE a few different chemicals could cause the same results,the brain can make the body produce stuff..
The thought process might not be ONLY what was tested as a caused by Mushroons-IN Humans,Maybe only under certain situations a lot of other stuff might stimulate the brain to regenerate.
 
Interesting subject,BUT from a site that probably edits parts out of the whole study if it might mess up things.

They aren't open minded in the least.

All the true hallucinogens are very similar in chemical make-up to natural neurotransmitters.
