event Manic Monday Invitational@ Stillmanz Ranch

just marinated the chicken wings in Def Con 1,2 and 3.
I got a little of 1 on my arm and its still burning a little. from a quick taste I had its in the very hot range and its gonna make eaten those wing damn interesting.
Wings are a bit new to us/ me in Oz the flavour of the sauce is different to what I had expected...different in a good way.
Its going to be a great day, I don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight lol....
 
WooHoooo: I just got all the burger & salad stuff. Grabbed a tray of Woolies sausages too (for dipping into sauce to taste test)

Hope the weather holds out for us but getting dark here again now.

Anything else we should bring?
 
looks like its gonna rain here soon. I got a covered area so it will still be ok.I can't think of anything, If you gonna crash just remember the pillows.

We go a lot of very hot sauce to get through I hope my digestive track is gonna be ok lol.

It's going to be a marathon effort. I've been training myself up with regular doses of fresh orange habs, 10 & naga sauce.

Hey did you mention to Defcon about the typo on his bottle?
 
nope I think he just slapped smaller bottle labels on the big fellas?
Did you realise this stuff has cream in it? What sort of shelf life are we looking at just curiously?
 
Cream? I didnt even look lol. I had to hide them in my fridge for fear of tearing it open & trying it before the big day. How sad is that...I didn't trust myself :lol:

As for the labels...whats the oz measure on that? easy to see if its a typo or same label.

I have had my DefCon sauces refrigerated for about 3 months and they still taste good.
 
You could see the extract splitting, it was creepy. I let it sit for a few minutes and shook the crapout of it untill it was more easily disperesed. DEF-Con 1 is very hot like I said I got some on my arm and it did burn that sort of thing dosn't usually affect me. These things are going to be very difficult to eat without setting fire to half your face.....especially if you have a beard lol.

Omri it says cream but I'm thinking it may be some sort of long life powdered thingy or similiar.

The one thing I noticed is the beautiful smell of Cayenne on the milder too. I am also impressed with the heat range, 3 is mild 2 medium 1 pretty damn hot. Can't waittosmell them cooking.

Bent I have the bottles at the shopsocouldn't read the labels I'll bring them down home for tommorrow.
Any more things we might of forgotten guys? THis is really going to be a blast tommorrow.
 
Any tips on how to cook these?(advice may or maynot be taken lol)
I was thinking about making some alfoil boats and slow cooking them in all the juice on the bbq, I wouldn't think this sauce would handle high temps it looks like it would split.
