Alynne's salad was still amazing. Multiple choice allowed me to give props to a salad in a BBQ comp lol, but I needed to because it was damn amazing! Great comp and the results seem spot on.
 
I too liked that style of poll.  Think several people ended up splitting their own votes though, so that aspect skewed the results a lil bit imo.  Most of the dishes I voted for won, all the entries kicked major azz and the prize box you posted looked like a seriously excellent addition to someone's pantry!  Very cool that our resident tasty peeps also put up rewards of their own for other contestants. Flavor and good food blowing up all over in here.  
 
Kudos to you for organizing/seeding the contest/prize pool and then subsequently linking all entries GM.  
 
Confidential to Ann:  Let's run a different raffle for the soldiers you mentioned.  As a focus of its own I'm sure we can make it stellar.  :)
 
Confidential to JayT:  If my math is right you're getting a bottle of my sauce in your prize box.  I'd love whatever feedback you might have on it.

The only place JHP didn't have stuff from was SL, and frankly I'm so impressed w/ the Chipotle BBQ I used last night, and love the Worcestershire, that I wrote persuasively to JHP to accept his rightful prize from Texas Creek ...
 
Same with WaffleBum ... he's not had PexPeppers HS before, and I twisted his arm.
 
I'm happy to compete, or sponsor something for an AnySoldier contest - so do it up!

Dude the Texas Creek Chipotle BBQ sauce has become my 'secret ingredient addition' to my comp team BBQ sauce for ribs.  Ain't lyin.  Have profuse love for the Worstesher too.  Both deserve wider distribution as I'm sure they'd sell well in the midwest region/Chicago.
 
And now to the lab for ideas on this AnySoldier contest....
