food-bev Memorial Day (Two-Week) User-land BBQ Contest

I get what Joyners is saying in that sometimes I'm cooking for the "show" of a TD, foofoo-ing it up,trying something off the wall, not a normal dish (like cabrito), or just cooking stuff for the family and it fits the "subject" of the TD so it get's posted.  Maybe like a sober Drunken Chef?

edit- is there such a thing as a sober Drunken Chef post?  That's an oxymoron if there ever was one!

That's the thing ... it might get to a group of people who all have the same score ... which will require either a repoll of those entries alone, or a shootout cook.
You can defer it as the prize for a shootout in a separate thread, LOL ...

  I cast my vote on Friday as I was getting ready to go catch a train to Chicago for my buddy's bachelor party. In my rush I totally missed the part about being able to make multiple votes. The one vote I did cast (JayT, duh) was definitely my winner, but there are so many other entries that I want to commend.
Maybe I'm just exhausted after surviving a wild weekend, but I still don't get this. How many votes are we allowed? Did the poll get extended to break a tie? I'll be back tomorrow to try voting again, if need be.

No, you could only vote once.  But it was multiple choice so you could have clicked on as many choices as you wanted.  The poll was and still is for the entire weekend, so it ends in 1.5 hours.

Order of Popularity:

1) JayT (20 votes)

2,3) Booma & JHP (13 votes ea)

4) Bumper (12 votes)

5) FB (10 votes)

Runner-Up's are Phil and Ozzy w/ 9 votes ea!

* I'll send some PM's and update the thread as things pan out, starting at the top =)

Congrats to everyone involved, so many awesome dishes and those who made them got to eat them!!!  Big thanks to Grant for running it and also to the sponsors of the prizes.
