Nature is awesome

Ya, there's usually only the one buck that hangs around and the rest are does. Bucks are usually more solitary this time of year.

Here's a pic of a baby deer I almost accidently stepped on a few years back. When they're this size they fit just right on the BBQ

Difficult to visualize size but it would just fit in both my hands

Edit: I guess I was wrong, there was 3 bucks out there last night
 
I think nature is always spectacular, and you found some good photography there, pip. I'm sorry I didnt catch who's taking amazing things in his backyard, those are equally "spectacular". much better than the photoshopped pics, IMHO.

I personally, am found of the monkey looking the wrong way through the tourists telescope!

Some really good shots there and Potawie, that's an amazing pic of the deers in the snow just out your door....It's hard for me to imagine that when I come from an area that never see's snow of any sort.

I love nature and seeing animals in there natual environment and I often find myself putting down the rifle for the day when on a shooting trip and just using the camera.....Not that I have a great one bit it takes some good pics when needed.
