Just dropped in to see your garden, WOW you sure have a grow going on!! At my age I would have a heart attack trying to take care of it all. Its good to see that your not afraid to get your hands dirty and grow enough food to keep you through till the next season and then some. I would put up a triple wire electric fence with a motion activated water sprinkler to detour some of the wild life  and maybe a few tin cans tied to some fencing to make noise. Deer have a bad habit of starting out as 1 or 2 and ending up as a large herd.  when I was young my dad would often go out very early and shoot some "Wild Goats" that often raided our garden,  our smoke house always had something hanging in it.
One thing you might want to keep a eye out for and that is wild pigs they can really wipe out a garden, I don't have that problem, but I know some people that do. Kentucky is one of the states that have a growing population of wild hogs.
Well I hope you have a great season, all your plants look great.

Well, I am glad I didnt yet, as tonight the forecast calls for 39 F... possibly dipping to 37 F closer to where I actually live, and patchy frost warnings...  I will be moving everything in for the night.  Although I know everything would "survive"...its just not worth the anxiety that comes with "what if".

I hope to be able to sell some $$$ worth of produce, as well as create some killer sauces/powders and maybe even some hot candy for our own consumption.

Yesterday I put in a painful 12 hour day.  Today I can hardly move and my hands are literally ripped to shreds, but I have the majority of the pepers in the ground.  I am taking a break today to recover.  The good news is that I only have 1 more day of work before my pepper patch is taken care of and I can move on to planting tomatoes..... then melons, then corn beans and squash. etc...

Sorry about the dark pictures, but I placed priotity on getting everything watered-in over taking pictures before sunset.  The lighting made the images blurry, but at least the pink glow from the sky reflected off the mulch to give a cool effect.

I hope you have labeled them well!

Actually I dont have them labeled at all... I just have a master list that shows the ordering.  However, as I was trying to take pictures I realized that there must have been some counting mistakes that threw everything off of the original plan slightly   So I will admit that it may be difficult to tell which is which until the pods are ripe, but at that time it will be fairly easy to identify each variety.  I took special care to arrange them in such a way as to ensure that no two similar looking varieties are ever side-by-side in a row.

.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      .

Each plant is receiving:
0.5 tablespoons espoma tomato tone,
0.5 tablespoons kelp meal
0.5 tablespoons fish bone meal.
1 tablespoon of vermi-compost, as innoculant.  (I will give each plant a nice top dressing of more worm castings in June.)
a pinch of glacial rock dust
a pinch of azomite
... and two years ago, we plowed this land, applied dolomite, and tilled it in.... so I did not require sweet lime this year.

The amendments were then tilled into the ground.

The pepper patch is nearly finished.  Just the last back corner section to go!
