Pretty simple really. Fusion cuisine. Like a Korean taco. It looks like a taco right? It retains the look of the original cuisine; Mexican, but has Korean flavors. The opposite would be a Korean dish with Mexican flavors and would retain the Korean look.

i missed the part where it had to look like the original. I was just going to take a German item, present it with something from another nationality, it sounds like it would taste good and work.....but won't know until I make it. But I don't think it will LOOK like the way this item is traditionally presented in German cooking. Come to think of it....I don't even know how this is traditionally presented!

edit- but doing the reverse fusion version of Korean Taco example would work-

Fuse two cuisines, one is German. Your starting point for the dish can be German (and you fuse another into it), or your starting point can be the other cuisine, and you fuse German into it. Get it?

No one said "must look exactly" I said, and I quote:
