And yes, i work for Ford, and i'll hold their newest car's quality up against any foreign make nowadays. But yes, they did make some junk back in the day, so i made fun of them too(well, that and because i'm a Pontiac guy myself)

Me, I'm an AMC kinda guy. No other car was better built than the 1975 AMC Gremlin, easy to work on, spacious under the hood, decent power, all metal frame (thing was like a tank, especially when I got in a car accident with mine), hydrolic bumpers, funny to look at....sigh....I miss my Gremlin...

FORD, First On Race Day.

The Focus in the clip is a good car. not sure on the build quality. From memory they are made in South Africa. Only the turbo version is built in Germany. I've got a turbo Mondeo they're made in Belgium, the build quality is fabulous. Much better than the locally built offerings in OZ. Mind you the Focus and Mondeo turbos use a Volvo motor and gearbox.

yeah, when they got it perfect they replaced it with the Focus.....and then it took them 9 years to get that one right too

So, you're saying they're going to stop producing the Focus?



It's worse then buying a dang bra. You finally find one that fits, is comfortable, and is pretty enough that you don't feel like you're hitching the mules to the wagon every morning, and they discontinue it.
