Okay I admit it...

OK, I have to admit that I have loved Mayo on my fries. It's a habit I picked up when I wasa stationed in Germany. Now though I like to mix in some hot sauce with the mayo and today I had a bottle of Darwins Red label and mixed them up with a little touch of Bhut Powder for some extra heat and DANG if it didn't just beat anything I've had before. Here's a pic, sorry it was on the last fry but dang it was gooooooooodddd!!!!

Y'all have a happy M Day weekend.

I mix mayo & hot sauce all the time. I usually put it in a ramican and whisk it. 3 parts mayo, 1 part hot sauce (usually LDHS, go figure) - it makes a terrific sammich spread, and also a great aioli for dipping artichoke leaves in.

This isn't a dirty secret, it's a purely awesome culinary delight.

in Holland the most popular patat frit (french fries) was mayo & peanut sauce. They were separate in the tray but they mixed together a little and it's AWESOME.

Ok, I had to go back and play some Catch up on this one. Dang it got to 20 pages! So I missed all the NwPk guilty pleasures so here are a few from my time as a NwPker, My mom and I actually relive this one every year at Christmas, we LOVE Almond Rocca! We give each other a can every year and then on Christmas Evening we'll get a drink and go sit on the back patio and re-live our time in Tacoma. Another one of my guilty pleasures was going to Johnnies On The Dock. I always got the Clams and I cant remember a day we lived there that there wasn't a bottle of Johnnies Salad Eligance on the table. I've only been to the Dicks in Edmonds.

I also have really great memories of catching Dungeness Crabs off of Saddle Bag Island and grilling them on the beach along with a whole mess of Oysters. Catching a HUGH Flonder in Streight of Juan De Fuca. I could go on and on I guess.

Wow RM!!! I was born in Tacoma and grew up in and around Tacoma. We used to live about 5 minutes from the Almond Roca place. And Johnny's is a yummy place. Amazing how many people used to live here.

Ah yes Tacoma. I can still smell that sulphury garlicy aroma even now.

I heard that the Nalley pickling and canning joint down at the port closed last year and moved to Iowa.

A damn shame.

mayo and fries rule,,i dont do it often but when i do i call it "going fat boy" hehe

I love it, "going fat boy"

Perfect!

I lived on Fernside Drive and if I looked out the back windows I could look left to the McNeil Island and look Right up past Galloping Gurdy. I could also see the subs heading up to the docks.
Oh and I miss having a basement

Well, here's my fat-boy-style artichoke dip confession.....butter, pressed garlic, mayo and a squeeze of lemon juice, melted together and attacked with the emersion blender until it's thick and creamy! I wish I'd lose my addiction to mayo!!!!!!!!!!

I oftentimes mix mayo, minced garlic, chipotle chilies in adobo sauce and
cilantro for a condiment that is wonderfully tasty.

FAIL! That's not a guilty pleasure, weird or unusual. That sounds like a good dip recipe.

I've smelt Tacoma AND Everett....in the same day.... :puke:

Here is a few cold pizza, great hangover food. turkey skin, You lie if never picked the skin off a turkey as it just came out of the oven at thanksgiving dinner. Those dam cheddar biscuits that red lobster serves.

Jazzbo. Really? Miracle Whip? I'd rather gargle my own urine.

That's a great admission though for this thread.

Well done.

I like to be liking cold beer too.

Over-serving myself right now as I type.
