Thought I'd put in a good word for Jukka "Fatalii" Kilpinen, owner of Fatalii.net in Finland.

Along with my seed order Jukka also sent me bonus seeds:

Short Yellow Tabasco (C. annuum)

Bolivian Rainbow (C. annuum)

Sarga Cseresnye (C. annuum)

Trinidad Bush (C. annuum)

Turbo Pube red (C. pubescens)

Naga Morich (C. chinense)

Trinidad Scorpion Morouga (C. chinense)

Pimenta da Neyde (C. chinense)

He also sent along three powder samples:

Jalapeno Hercules (Alder smoked)

Morouga/Brown Mix (Apple Tree smoked)

Naga Morich Extra Hot Premium Chili Powder

I found Jukka very pleasant to deal with, and will be doing business with him again.

Hungarian Hot wax
Hungarian Black
Little Blue
Jalapeno
Ring of Fire
Habanero mix

and from last year stock i have Tabasco and Cayenne...
Growin season will start tomorrow :) Cant wait to overgrow whole my house :)

I ordered some Trinidad scorpions and bhut jolokia from eBay. A guy named Dave. His store on there is asiasgarden. Very nice guy and he threw in a sample of Daves Dragon Dust. Extremely hot stuff. I believe he is out of Oregon.

My order from Tradewindsfruit came in about 4 days, they have a pretty good selection of peppers plus a ton of other stuff, and they are quite a bit of seeds in each pack and prices are cheap. Another good company...

First order from Semillas.de took about 10 days, no problem since it's coming from far away. Second order I placed there on the 13th of January, I never received a confirmation email that payment was accepted and the order was shipped like I did with the first order. After a couple weeks, I started to wonder if the order was ever shipped and if they had maybe missed it. I sent an email to confirm that the order was shipped, no reply. I sent another one about a week later, this time he replied and said it was shipped on the 17th and that 1-2 weeks is possible. It's now the 15th and I haven't received anything. I sent him an email 5 days ago telling him I haven't received anything, still no reply. I'm going to give it a couple more days and then file a claim with paypal to try to get my money back. Only have 45 days from payment to file a claim and that's coming up fairly soon. It's a shame because they have such a good selection, including some varieties I haven't seen anywhere else. :(

So, from my experience...I've had very good results with Tradewindsfruit, The Hippy Seed Company, Peppermania, and Pepperlover. One good result with Semillas.de and one negative result (as of now).

And now I have to add Neil to the class operation list. Quick service (even from Australia) and some free seeds too. I gotta quit buying so many seeds!

I ordered from both Peppermainia and Pepperlover.com. Both arrived quickly and both contained free seeds. Judy at pepperlover.com included some sweet free seeds, including bhut jolokia. Both are class operations.

Seed ordering can be addictive.

I received your seeds on Thursday. Thanks! How are you liking that book?

Good to hear, the book is great. I tore through it in about 2 days. :D I'm going to go back and re-read some of the growing information, lot's of good info in there. I kind of wish they had omitted the recipes and maybe the top 100 varieties for growing sections and just went straight technical and growing information, although some of the recipes do sound pretty good. :D

I've bought some stuff from www.peppermania.com and it's been good stuff. Very nice service and good selection of varieties.

I've also gotten seeds from www.tradewindsfruit.com and can't complain. They aren't capsicum 'specialists' per se, but do carry a very good selection of seeds.

www.worldofchillies.com was also good.

I just bought from tradewinds for the first time and using the small clear cups with lids..the germination rate is unreal. 3 days and things are popping up all over the place. Highly reccomend them

I have a question about ordering overseas seeds. I have never done this but I have read a lot of stories about having to fill out forms and all kinds of other things to prevent them from possibly being lost or taken at customs. Does anyone have experience with this and what is the procedure?

Depends on where you get it from, how you get it to you and the policies of your own country.

In my country, there may be strict policies in pkace but ut's never enforced. Lol.

I can basically get any type of seed i want from any country that's willing to send 'em to me.

Trouble is, sometimes it takes forever or it never arrives at all.

I have a friend who lives in Chicago, we send packages to and from each other a few times a year.
I would say that 5 days is average but I have waited up to 3 weeks to get a package from her.
It depends weather customs decides to take a peek inside... sometimes they take forever.

Hey Hittmann.
Ask your Friend in Chicago about the 'Chicago Sports Peppers'. They are awesome.
Chicago has the best Hot Dogs on the planet. You can find them at any sports game.
They load them with tasty toppings...including the 'Chicago Sports Pepper' as the final topping.
Every time I'm there...or fly into their O'hare Airport... I need to enjoy their Hot Dogs.
Kind of like Philly Cheese Steaks, or Baltimores Pollok Johnny's Polish sausage. Mmmmmmmm....
