Grow List 2014 - Many new varieties and a few repeaters.
This is the third year of my original three year plan to grow a slew of different
types to see what grows well here before settling on some consistent performers.
I'd love to grow some of the new varieties from this season again, and some more
of my favorites from 2012, but not enough space.  But I have seed for my favorites for
season 2015, so I have something to look forward to already!

Major goal for season 2014 - lay in a good supply of super hot powder!

Wow 30 foot waves I demand pics bro . It took about 10 days to sprout and I had two pop with helmet heads. Thinking I stuffed them do deep in the sponge. One was a yaki blue which I really like the looks of. Added a few more seeds. The cumari has shown no hooks so I added a few more seeds to the sponge. If I know you within a few days you will have hooks .

Paul your plants, seedlings, pictures and all look awesome! Impressive shot of your mad scientist aero lab and set up, love dat look. I have no doubt that you will rock da aero world with your new gear, congrats!

… We are heading to the Oregon Coast for the weekend - should be
spectacular storms brewing.  Last nights news said possibly 30' (a
shade less than 10m) waves sometime today and overnight to tomorrow.
Will try to grab a pic or two.  Wind gusts to 70mph (112kph) are possible,
so it may be dicey. ... ...

Why do I keep hearing Surfin’ Safari ♪ ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ in my head … Hab fun at the beach, hope you take a big wave gun, I would love to join you in dat line up = ) Biggest waves we got over in Hawaii were only 20’ faces and that was a blast, so I envy your trip but I’m sure that water is too cold for dis Caribbean boy old mon, lol

Hab a great weekend \o/

Have a swell (pun intended) time Paul .. Sounds like the perfect time to get out your camera and take some storm shots.
Turned out to be a bust, my friend.  Peak of storm not
as bad as might have been, and happened during the
night!  Oh well.

Thanks for the news on the aero, Jamie.  Sorry to disappoint,
the weather gods just didn't cooperate this weekend.  I didn't
even take my camera out of the bag!

Those kids are coming along great Paul! Definitely interested to see how the aerogarden works for ya.   Holy 30ft waves! I don't think I can really imagine that. The biggest I've been in is about 15ft on a fishing trip.
The Jiffy pellets are working their magic; came home to
some Bhut Jolokia Chocolate and 7 Pot Barrakapore #2
sprouts, and another Congo Trinidad Yellow or two!

15' is pretty darn respectable!

Wow some storm brewing your way!

Promise it won't come visit us down here...

Yes, we want pics!
Again, sorry to disappoint - you don't need to worry about
this one.  We had 1.2" of rain at our house from Saturday
through Sunday, but at the coast it turned out to be a weak
sister!

The PNW surf is too cold for just about anybody!  Most of the
boarders here wear wet suits, or even dry suits in the winter.
We're darn lucky to get 10' foot breakers except on the rare
occasion!  We had a great time at the coast hanging out with
friends there.  Just no surf shots to be had.

Hope your weekend was a good one.

Thanks, Jeff.  Most of my fishing has been meadow
stream and river fly fishing.  Never tried my hand at

Nice pics of first round seedlings, command central and the new Aerogarden Paul! Stay safe if you go to the beach... rips are not fun if you get caught in them, though the fishing around their edges is excellent.
Not only was it a safe weekend, but a boring one as far
as storm surf watching goes.  Maybe next time!

Surfing in weather cold enough to have to wear a suit just doesn't sound like fun to me.  I guess some sharks like their steak slightly chilled.

Not fond of sharks, though   ;)
