Here's a custom Benevente I sold a few years ago, wish I woulda kept her but at the price I got for it I had to let it go. Ahhhh... I miss my photo gear also (used to be a photographer)

10" are tighter but I use my mesa cab with it alot. I have 2 V30s and 2 g12t-75s in an x pattern in it, so much more depth. I did the same on my VHT 2x12, 1 V30 and 1 g12t-75. That combo of speakers is so balanced.
Sounds good. They definitely compliment each other. I, personally, find G12T-75 to be a bit too bright for my tastes. Love me some V30s, though.

No just some vid on youtube comparing the speaker blend. I like a full rounded sound with a little more mid for cut through, not excessive mids though. I like the lows from the g12t-75 because I tune really low, for metal I use B, B flat and A. Everything else I use either D or C.

My 6 strings I do D or C, my 7 strings I do B, B flat or A, I have a few 7 strings as I love them hence my user name. I don't do any pussy one string drops, I drop em all.

I also use super fat strings and ernie ball cobalts to offset any muddiness since they are very bright. I even use 7 string sets on my 6 strings and throw away the high string :-). I hate thin spagetti strings, they play and sound like shit. I'm very picky when it comes to guitar stuff. I'm almost 40 and been playin since I was 10 so I have my ways burned into my brain ;-)

Pussy one string drops? What is wrong with that?

I agree on using heavier gauge strings. I use a custom set of Ernie Ball 12-60s now that I am in drop B on both my ESPs. Not super heavy, but a nice middle ground. My old band tuned to drop D and the other guitarist used 8-38s. I couldn't play his guitars. Too floppy. Very thin tone as well. Couple that with his extreme use of scooped mids (he even used an EQ pedal to further scoop out his mids). He always bitched about us drowning his out. Haha.

I dont dig just dropping one string.

Yeah when ever I go to guitar center I can't play those guitars because the strings are just too thin.

That sucks, no guitar center!
My best friend owns a studio so when I'm bored I just go f**k around there. https://m.facebook.com/lotechlabs
You need to get outta the sticks man!! Lol
Sweet! Let's hear some riffage from you!

I like living out here. I lived in rural Ohio for 5 years and they had a Guitar Center and Sam Ash in Columbus. There are two decent guitar shops up in Billings, Montana (150 miles away) that I go to whenever I am up there. They rival the chain stores.

Unless I make a youtube page and can get some good audio mixed with video probably wont happen. I don't know any video people. I suck anyway ;-).

You can always block it off. Did that with my Wolfgang, DK-2 and RG470.

I looked up the black flame maple. Sexy, sexy!

Picked up a Boss SD-1 the other day in Billings. Just now getting a chance to monkey with it. Absolutely hate it! I will stick with my *gasp* MT-2. Anyone want to buy a used once SD-1? I paid $68. Will take $50 o.b.o. shipped within the US.

that sucks man...
I was super satisfied with the classic BOSS DS-1 at first, but when I finally switched to tube amp I just had to sell the f***er...
Got an acquaintance of mine building modded and custom pedals and they really rock.
I don't know if I can paste links here, rather not.

Anyway..he made a version more similar to TS-9 (since I love the blues).. and I still like it.
Since then he's really into it and making pedals for a lot of musicians....

This is an SD-1, not a DS-1. Two very different pedals.
