this is what i mean...

some say calcium.. what do you think P ?

I'm not quite sure what the problem is, but here's a few questions: What type of medium and fertilizers are you using? Are you using epsom salts. Is the leaf problem only happening on C. chinenses? Do you water often? What sort of humidity are they getting?

coco coir..

coco coir specific nutes..

yes to the epsom salts ( spray for foliage )..

yes to the problem only happening on C. chinenses..

i only water them when they need it...( that seems to work best )...

humidity is fairly good (medium to high ) and constant...

Not sure, but I'm guessing its possibly a coir related nutrient deficiency (or excess) but if its only C. chinense varieties then I'd also think maybe a magnesium deficiency or overwatering(although it appears you're doing things right). Any time I've had wavy leaves, the plants(always C. chinenses) eventually grows out of it

hmmmm, good to know.. ill just wait before doing anything else to them..

thanks P

Things are growing a little slow in Potawie-land compared to most years but I am doing things quite different and I'm still quite confident that I'll have a great season.

Here's a little peak into the back of my greenhouse

Some of the smaller plants, lots of Annuums and tomatos

Some of the larger plants, mostly Chinenses

Good God POTAWIE, that's amazing! your weather is probably one of the crappiest ones I've ever seen and your doing amazingly well with your (relatively) natural resources. even them Caribbean folks would be proud to have such results. actually I think anyone would.

very nice as usual Derek...is that your big bangs in the top right of the first picture?

Mr Greenjeans I presume?

You definitely got it going on Derek. Looks like I'll be adding another role model in the plant growing category. Thanks.

i was tempted to skip to the end and say DEATH TO POTAWIE!!! but the truth is i lub him and i had to look @ the pics. good start this year bro, and thanks for the seeds ; ).

remeber that post 'if you only had to grow one chile" ? that's what i'm doing this year thanks to a flat-mate issue of watering D:. but i'm going all ancho baby!! watchout. anyways looks good dude! keep up the artwork.

Very nice! Is that some Taro you got going in the lower right of the top pic? Making Calaloo?
Actually its a dwarf Bannana plant, the big ones are still in the house. BTW, I had to google Calaloo, and it sounds good

That's slower?

I'm not complaining, its just that I always compare with my pics from years past and try to improve each year, although there are many variables to consider.

You can't go wrong with poblanos/anchos. I can never grow enough, but hopefully that will change this year

Looking really good for 09 d,nice to try a few differnt things and looks like they have worked out well for you my friend :)

Here's a quick update. I've been doing a lot of re-potting lately and I'm starting to get quite crowded in the greenhouse. The tomatos and cucumbers are really taking off and the peppers are really loving the recent sunshine. Now I'm just hoping the night temps stay above freezing

Here's a peak into the front of the poly-tunnel
