RocketMan 2014 - Resurrection

Wow, first growing season in the new house and I'm totally stoked for this one. Lots of prep work still to be done but there's plenty of time to get it done before plant out. So, here is a pic of where Pepper Row will be going in:

I'll be coming out about another 18 to 24 inches from the fence. The brick line will move out to the new edge and the Ivey will be kept cut back to wher it is now so the fence doesn't show through, she who must be obeyed has made it known that she doesn't want to see it :)

I'm still working on the list and as these will probably be in for a while I'm actually thinking about rather a short list using the peppers I use most often in sauces but can't get locally like Fataliis and planting 3 or 4 of each.

The other, non-pepper stuff will be growing in the big bed at the end of the row. We'll be putting in raised beds there but first I have to remove this bast@rd:

Congrats on the engagement brother Bill.

Stumped on the lack of germination but nothing  like a little heat and humidity to fix that    ;)

We'll, I may be having a heck if a time getting my seeds to pop but there's one thing that always works out for me.

From Left to Right that's

Jamaica Me Hot
Fire Mission
Smoked Fire Mission
Ground Zero
Fire Mission Bacon

Fire Mission Hot Sauce is the new name for Haba-Peno.

Stay spicy my friends :)

I just used some of your cannon fire sauce yesterday on tacos.  That one's my favorite of all the ones you sent me, followed by flaming pumpkin, which is ridiculously hot! :onfire:   Really like that Cannon Fire - well done!
And well done on getting your seeds to pop.  Luckily you are down in Florida where you pretty much grow year round, so you'll have plenty of time to get fresh pods from those!

Andy, that Douglah version of Flaming Pumpkin is on the extreme side. When I first tried it I honestly thought no one would like it because it has so much Douglah flavor. It bottle conditioned nicely though but kept that heat.

Time for a little update as things are beginning to look up here since moving the trays outside.

Tray 1, I need to look at my tray map and see which ones these are.

These are the 3 plants that beerbreath sent me along with a piece of Aloe my daughter cut from a plant at her boyfriends house.

The 2 root pouches are Strawberries and Ground Cherries I'm hoping will sprout. These pics were taken with my IPhone while letting the dogs out this morning so are a little dark. I'm planning to get some better ones when I get home from work.

I think I've figured out how I'll be able to keep up with my Glog following too. I'm trying it out and we'll see though.

Have a great day!

Seeds a popping! Haha...you got set back to my favorite part! I could go through germ to plant out over and over...Pod set is cool too, but then comes all that damn picking. Which is also cool the first few times, but then it turns into work! Haha...down in FL you could germ and plant year round so it is less of a setback and more of a delay. Can't wait to see pepper row in full swing!

Here are some pics you can really see what's coming up
