RocketMan's 2013 Glog; In The House!!

There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments." -- Janet Kilburn Phillips

I love that quote and it will try my best to remember it through this new grow. So, I'm going with only 18 varities this year as we're looking at moving to a larger house if not buying this summer and I really don't want to have to try and haul a ton of plants when we do. the ones I've selected are:

1. 7 Pot Jonah---------------------------- Pic 1
2. Aji Lemon------------------------------- romy6
3. Chili De Arbol Negro------------------ smokemaster via SocalChilihead
4. Datil-------------------------------------- Pic 1
5. Fatalii------------------------------------ Pic 1
6. Gochu----------------------------------- Stickman
7. Red Savania--------------------------- Pic 1
8. Chocolate Habanero----------------- Pic 1
9. West Indian Yellow Habanero------ Pic 1
10. Jalabanero---------------------------- SocalChilihead
11. Jalapeno------------------------------- frydad4
12. Douglah-------------------------------- Pic 1

Alot of them are ones i started last year that never grew beyond a certain point and I'm pretty sure that a lot of it was my new grower mistakes. Since I really want to try them I'm giving them a grow again. Once again, thanks to everyone that helped me getting started with gifts of seeds and to all on here thanks for leaving your incredable words of wisdom that we can all learn from.

Cheers to a bountiful grow this year.

Glad you only lost a few pods and if you really don't want to eat 'em, PM me and will send ya a box ;) . Black Krim's just not a huge producer, since heirloom. But better tasting that Cherokee P and Cher Chocolate, imo. I was total idiot and had one BK standing in water yesterday, along with a few other toms, took one of my old pieces of garden hose and siphoned water off, slapped in some Actinovate, corn meal, wished 'em well! I still expect BER but it goes away after first few fruits. They almost look happy this morning, some kin to Mikey Phelps or . . . anyhow, happy to see ya make it through the first and one can hope, last, beotch of the season!

Glad to see you dodged the bullet brother Bill! I hope I'm wrong for the sake of you folks down by the Gulf, but it's been a cool and rainy spring up here and I suspect we're not done with them yet. Everything looking great guy... drive on!

Wow, been too long since I have been able to stop by, and you've got a whole lot going on! I'm a bit jealous of the real life meet up you had with Jamie. It would be fun to do a real life thing, I'm sure you guys had a great time.
Your plants are looking great. Glad you survived the storm. What a mess. I'll take our winters, I think. Between the poisonous stuff and the hurricanes, I don't know what I'd do.

Looksie what I found while checking the plants

So here's some close up of them. These are from my Mystery plant, any guesses as to what they might be?

Hope the weekends going well and thanks for stopping by :)

Well, I looked through my last years log and it looks like the chocolate something is a Chocolate Douglah but the Mystery Pepper is still a Mystery

Glad you made it through Andrea with minimal damage, Bill.  Everything is looking great.  Lovin the pods off of the mystery.  Some sort of 7 Pot Red would be my guess.

Our offer has been accepted and we have a new Launch Pad providing the inspections and all pan out good. So, soon this will be the new home of RocketMans sauce making, home brewing and plant starts.

It's an air conditioned room off the garage where the old owners made ceramics. Pleanty if room for a fridge and a propane burner to go in

thank you sir, you may be right about it being 7 Pot. I did grow some last year. Going to have to figure out a way to keep the kids from removing them.

Awesome!  And congrats.  Good luck on the inspections and escrow.  We're sitting back on this end.  The local market is going nuts!

Thanks Doc, we feel very fortunate to have found this place.

Congrats!  That would be awesome for a pepper room.  Good luck!

Thanks Matt, I'm thinking about putting a Fridge/Fermentation Chamber right next to the Sink and building another section on next to it for an outdoor Propane burner and then adding a vent hood above it. Going to have to boot up Visio and do some design work. on it. Also need to get in there and take some measurements.

Nothing like walking to the garden and seeing some color. It's euphoria. Congrats on them babies. How did they taste if I didn't miss the review yet?

Bill congrats on the offer acceptance, great looking house from the pictures you shared with me a few months back ... hope all the little details go smooth sailing brethren and soon you'll be making your rocket fuel in dat awesome room! Everything else still looking Irie!

Hey Brother Bill, hope the new digs work out. Will you still be in Orlando? This calls for a celebration... Waitress, spam for everyone! ;)

Well, I have to say that, even with a Tropical Storm blowing through, I can defiantly see a difference in the plants before the AACT and after. So, round 2 goes on tonight. This time I left the fish ferts out and it's foaming nicely. I'll get a pic tonight before I apply it.

So I was going to do the second round if AACT tonight but they're so over watered looking I'm almost afraid to.

Here's the tea. Since this was originally set up for brewing it had this fitting in it where I attached a blow off tube and is perfect for passing the tubes through.
