I had to throw the burger back on the grill here after I cut it. I thought the burger was done and it wasn't. I cooked it a little long to ensure it was not still alive.

Insert the slow clapping emoji. Very good KBK! I'd eat them buns fresh out of the oven with a big smear of butter.

Probably the reason I didn't replace the bread cooker after Evan pulled it off the counter and trashed it. Fresh baked is sooooooo good!

how did you cook it?

may i suggest cast iron.

from now on we will refer to this as CI.

it is also known as Black Betty,

now, get that bitch hot!

and use plenty of lubrication.

and slap your meat on it.

pound it till it sizzles.  :P

flip it when you want to try the other side.

pound it some more. :drooling:

the pan is not hot enough unless the room gets smoky and the smoke detectors start goin` off!

do this and you won`t have to cut your meat in half and put it back on the fire. j/k

I once did use cast iron in my kitchen...and I did set the smoke alarm off. That was rather difficult trying to explain to my alarm company..haha. Now I cook such things outside on my grill. Maybe I will try the cast iron pan on the grill. I think I just sped the process up too fast that go around. Then I overcompensated and ended up on the other side of the scale. lol. Ah well it tasted good anyway.

hey bro cook it whatever way it tastes good and you don`t piss off the alarm company. just keeping this quarantine lighthearted.

Another project of mine I finally got around to making. Jeweled Rice (Javaher Polow) with Beef Kabobs.

The layers are: lemon zest sugar syrup and slivered almonds; sauteed and sugared rehydrated apricot, cranberries, raisins, and black cardamom; and steeped turmeric soaked rice; all over steamed white rice. Topped with pistachios. Tasted pretty good.
