I still cannot understand why people think plants will not fruit under cheap T8 shop lights. The pods on this Marconi Red must be a mirage.
 

 
My single pod Emerald Fire Frankenpepper is about ready to pick. Hopefully there will be seeds to find out what the next round brings.

They know better than to mess with the Skullbiker! I tell them to grow fast and stand straight or off to the compost pile with em(or, they will enter the experimental zone). That last part usually does it.

I just pulled the Emerald Fire Frankenpepper pod. Thick juicy walls, small placenta but heavy ribs, some sweetness and good Jalapeno heat and flavor. And, it had seeds. Now to see what the next round brings.

Well, as of now, about 2:15 pm my garden sensor says it is 92f out there. Low predicted tomorrow night of 43f.

All I can say is that I am lovin the heat, as long as it stays under 100 Im good. Its pretty rare since I have been here to have more than 1 cloudy day at a time, rarely 2 in a row...........Sunshine State ya know. Anyway, I hope you start thawing out up there so you can get those plants going. Lemon Boys are at the top of the cages now(5 1/2 ft) with golf ball size tomatoes on them.

If you have ever considered growing the Jalapeno Gigantia you may want to reconsider. Most of the peppers are SMALL, a really big one might be 1 1/2 inch long. I will not be wasting space for these again.

I grow several of each variety every year and occasionally get one that grows like that, but I had three of these and all were like this one. The plants are all on the compost pile now freeing up pots and soil for the next batch.

A couple more from the back of the shelf bearing some of that fruit that supposedly cannot be made under my T8 shop lights. Luck would have it that they are in giant pots!
