food So, what's the menu for Memorial Day?

I'll be making smoked poppers, wings, kielbasa, venison tenderloins, pork chops, ribs, chicken quarters, corn on the cob, potatoes, baked beans, broccoli salad, and potato salad. Expecting 15-20 people. I'll take lots of pics. What are you making?
 
Im going to make me drunk. Apart from that though i may start to marinate some steak so i can cook me some kick a$% vindaloo tomorrow.
 
bbbberrr and hittin da free BBQs at bars in the ole nighrborhoooodess like todau $1 burgers and dogs and tomorroe FREEE BBQ at a bar weeeeee!!!!!!!!~
 
Poppers and ribeyes for tonight but winging it for for sunday and monday. This is my weekend to shoot some guitar video.

I would let you but i decided to cook the steak tonight and marinate another one for the night after. :P
 
Whatever they are serving on the ship. :( Have duty that day...not only is it a Federal holiday, it's my damn birthday as well! :mad:

Made some wings again and decided to put 1/2 a bottle of Z into them. Note to self: DON'T EVER TRY THAT AGAIN! :mouthonfire:
 
Yeah Happy Birthday. Can't wait to see pics of that AJ. I am off to start this feast. Well I actually started yesterday with the salads and coleslaw. Now to make the salsas and fire up the smoker... Doubt I will get pics on today, but probably tomorrow. Have a great day everyone.
 
I forgot to take the chicken out of the freezer and it won't thaw in time to cook so I am off the the grocery store to get ingredients...I am going to make the smoked poppers like my last entry into the popper throwdown...

After i get off of work today i'm probably just going to hit some more Firefly, thats all. Maybe toss a couple of burgers on the grill too, but right now i don't even feel like doing that.

Yep, every Memorial day....this is my trade off for not having to work on saturdays or sundays here. In fact, we're just about the ONLY Ford dealer in the country that doesn't work on at least saturdays.

AJ, looks like you and your guests are in for a real treat. Can't wait to see the after pics. What kind of wood are you smoking the bird and the loin with?
