After looking at how ugly this old shelf looked i went down to the local bunnings to get some wood to make new shelving to match the study furniture .

Your right moo it does look kinda orange , but its def a yellow 7 , i have pods in the kitchen that iv picked and there yellow, it must be the way the sun was that day when i took the photo, iv had that plant for a couple of seasons and in the middle of the season the shape of the pods look like a true yellow but to start with early in the season the pods are all shapes, dont know why that is .its original seeds from Neil .

This is a pic of the same 2 plants from last season moo.

Nice plants!
I have two little green pods from my Yellow 7s so far. I have to say its one of the nicest looking plants to grow. Don't know exactly what it is but they stand out next to the others. I'll be happy if I can get the sort of fruit load these ones have.

You can learn so much about gardening and still be a newbie. You really have to be able get results and have a ton of experience before you're not a rookie.

Moo last season the yellow 7's kept fruiting all through the season right into winter , the more pods i picked the more it grew , second best was the Nagas, my freezer was full and i had way to many pods for just me to use so i was giving them away .

Hey Todd. Did you end up sprouting any of those mystery ghost chillies I sent you? This is what they look like.

I ate a green one today. Real hot and fruity (like passion fruit). Anyway mate all looking good. I think we should all get together next month to compare pods over a few brews

... some of the pods are looking like true moruga's but some of the pods on the plant are funky shapes with some long stingers and some look not so long, ill post a couple more pics of the funky shaped ones..

I will be saving seeds from each of the funky ones to grow out next season.

These two are awesome looking, love the idea of separating some seed, I’m doing the same on my end … much respect \o_

Hey ss where did the original seeds for those TSMB come from?? They are freaking cool!!
Hi Trippa, those moruga's came from jungle rain, i bought a hell of a lot of seeds from grant to grow this season , but then so many ppl from THP were so kind as to send me stuff to grow i didnt end up planting all of grants stuff , but what i did plant is amazing , he has some great varietys.

I have 3 morugas of grants growing , all 3 are true looking pods but 1 of the plants is putting out these funky looking pods .Some of them look like this but have a huge tail .

Hi Lava , no mate i didnt end up planting any of those seeds , i just had to many to try and grow and i am limited as to how much room i can use here , but they sure look like things are going good for u and yes i think its
a great idea to catch up for a beer , we should get kev away from his plants and all go to the pub for a chin wag.

Hi Walkgood, this plant is quite large and it looked almost perfect and i wanted to isolate it so i stuck it around the other side of the house for a few days but was way to windy and it coped a beating , so its back around with all the other plants now , i might make up sone of those bags made out of tule to try and isolate them that way , not sure how affective it is doing it like that but ill give it a go.

Are they the same mystery, possibly red savina seeds that I got off you? I've got 2 plants, they were slow to start but have finally started podding.

Hey, SS! Love your construction projects and the outrageous
healthy plants you've got going. We are in the middle of about
a 10 day stretch of 25ËšF nights, so looking at your grow helps
me think 'warm'! Your mystery ghost looks like pods from a
plant Spankycolts gave me that he called a 'Casper'. I don't
know the source of his seed, maybe they came from the same
place. The pods ripened to red.

Good luck finding space for all your pods!

59.9??? WOW! That's almost 140F! Crazy. Sorry to hear about the fires. Probably started from an overheated air conditioner.

Yeh Doc iv only ever felt it as hot as 46 and that seemed extreem , id say the radiant heat from the fires have something to do with temps that high .

I agree with WG, love the Naga Purple. That might have to go on 2014's list for me! Really looking forward to seeing the TS Moruga Caramels ripen. Plants look very healthy!

Great close ups and love the Naga Purple shots :)
Thanks mate , i just love everything about the Naga Purple the flowers and the colour of the leaves and the pods .

Hi mate , the Naga purple starts of with purple pods then turnes a smokey green then orange then a final red , i tried a ripe one today thinking it would taste like an ornamentle type taste , but it smelt and tasted like a fruity red capsicum with alot of heat , i was quite suprised..

Hi mate , yeh the old Top Secret saying . Oh well for a few seconds i felt like a pro breeder thats been growing for donkeys years, lol this is only my 4th season so im still in the rookie stage.

Rookie?? Looks to me like you were born with a green thumb, mate! All your plants look so lush and happy. Some real hot-ass pods there. :onfire: I do love me some hardcore pornage! :D

Hi Lava, yeh mate i got the yellow 7 seeds from neil 3 years ago and they still produce pods right through winter till you clip them back , and the taste is well you know what yellow are like fruity az. See if you can track down the Chipotle Tabasco. Heaps hard to get a hold of here but it's the shiznit! I found it at a (not-so-local anymore) Mehican joint, but at $15 a pop, it's not something I can afford to indulge in regularly. :(
