Top of page? I'll take it! Hah!

Plants are looking good. I'm still jealous of that Cali weather, but plant out here should be finished by the weekend.

Top of page and you are 2 posts away from "heating up" my friend! Get your 100th bro!!!
good job taking the BrainStrain like a man! That was the first super I tried thanks to Spongey :P I don't think I took it as well as you did.
Not sure it qualified as "like a man" but I'll take it! Getting the hang of this pod eating thing...but there are a couple real BIG gnarly ones enroute. Should be epically comical!

Plants look great Shane. So far the only pod I got going is on my Thai, so I'm jealous. Take care.
Ran out of likes or I would have hit this one for sure! They are doing me real proud. Still dropping most of their blooms, but 1 by 1 they are starting to put some powder in those flowers! Good news is I checked out the Infinity and each bloom I touched left my fingers nice and dusty! I can see some pod at the other end of their stigma too...fingers crossed. That one just put out its first flowers so If I can set pods right away, I think they all might turn the corner. The brain right next to it is opening its first flower as well. The only one that hasn't opened a flower yet is the Yellow 7...but they are real close! Fatalii is loaded with open flowers, white, caribbean red, chocolate and red lantern habs are all blooming like crazy! Red, Yellow Bhuts and Scorpions all opened their firsts. There are more....but the big news is...

I am pretty sure my Douglah set a pod...too early to know if its gonna stay stuck, but its looking good! Think I got momma convinced to let me plant another 20-30 Manzano plants!!!   I may rip out the landlord's hedge along the driveway and put in one of my own! Or I could just use some of the new 100 or so containers I just brought home!

Another 20 manzanos sounds great, It really is a great pepper. I can't wait for mine to start flowering. As of now all the buds have been dropping but hopefully soon that will change. I wish now that I didn't give off my other 5 manzano plants.

I gave away 4 but kept 2...mine are loaded with flowers, but they're still dropping. Won't be long! The one I have in a 7 gallon is already outgrowing it. Think I may step up to a 15 gallon tomorrow...I would put it in the ground, but it is doing better than the one I have in the ground so if it ain't broke I don't wanna fix it!

Shane your plants look great especially the tomatoes you know what comes after the flowers the pods  that will be a double pointed fat bhut hopefully you save the seeds from that bad pepper and we can bargain some ransom for a few seeds this way. Your on the way towards pod galore I see it now the water in the swimming pool will be replace by pods. Good luck wish you the best on this awesome weekend.

Man I really hope that double bloom sets some sort of weird mutant pod! I will send seeds from it for sure. I have several that have or have had double blooms so far, but none have set. I know its a long shot, but I am still hopeful!

Few I didn't post earlier...
P1010349.jpg

Early Scotch Bonnet Annuum....this thing is still loading up! Beautiful plant and pods...should make some fun little poppers for the kids when the grownups are having some big boy poppers!

P1010354.jpg

Fish pepper...another one that is making this look easy! Dozens of pods and more every day!

P1010358.jpg

Keep updating this guy...but now that its ripening, its little brothers decided to show up! All 4 plants are loaded with golf ball sized pods that should all ripen around the same time, so will make a nice dinner of stuffed peppers in about a month! As for the big pepper...may stuff that one for a solo dinner in the barracks next week!

P1010362.jpg

My larger inground Purple Bhut. Loaded with flowers as well...should have a few new pods in a few days!

P1010364.jpg

More and more of this going on out there!!! Only thing better than a ladybug...is a ladybug larvae! Hope to see some little ones out there soon!

P1010365.jpg

Near to far 5 gallons...Brain, Infinity, Devil's Tongue Brown, Douglah, Manzano (7 Gallon), Whit Bhut, Then a whole gaggle of plants in the 2 green ones...

Many more plants to update over the next few days. Was cool here today. Only got up to 65 with morning rain, hope that doesn't turn off the pollen pumps!

See you tomorrow THPers!
Shane

Remember what this weekend is really about. All gave some, some gave all.

Wow, looking extremely good brother! Sounds like you have a very full weekend planned. You've been awfully quiet the last week... you haven't been out looking for a monkey so you can cut Paul out before he does his video have you? ;)

Absolutely not! I do not mess with flying monkeys! I still have nightmares about the ones that carried Dorothy away, now flying pigs...that's a horse of a different color!

Shane, WOW! The palnts look great! 6 FOOT TOMATO PLANT!? You'll be eatting tomatoes and stuffed bells for a while  The purple Bhut is looking great man. Good stuff

Also thanks for services so my kids can be safe, much appreciated!

Everythings looking fantastic Shane! it was nice to check up on your glog buddy! I went back 3 pages before I head out to work.. Just like pauls glog, REALLY?! I don't check it out for 3 weeks and you guys have 15 pages I've yet to read?! lol. Good stuff. The brain review was great, you handled it pretty damn well! Your plants have freaking exploded since I last saw em! Making me want to move away from this rainy state even more lol. I won't be seeing growth like that until July with the way our weather is. Nice lookin maters as well. Hope things continue to do well for ya bud. Again, good to catch up on "Shanes Pepper-Op" :)

Yup, anyone who is willing to put their lives on the line for my freedom is a hero in my book.

Families of these heroes are oft forgotten, and every bit as deserving of remembrance this weekend.

Our freedom was not cheap, it came at the cost of the blood of our nations sons and daughters, and its by Shane's (and other's) willingness to put their lives on the line that it is preserved.

Sure wish we had more ladybugs around here, only see a couple or less every year. Is it a very common sight for most of you guys? Wish they were available for buy here.

Yeah...been overupdating, trying to stop. It has at least slowed down since I am stuck in the barracks during the week, but this 4 day weekend will probably add a couple pages to this monster!

Thanks brother. It is an honor and a privilege to serve. I truly love my job (except when they shut down my barracks grow op) and wouldn't dream of doing anything else...until I retire anyway!

I see at least 4 or 5 every time I go out. A couple days ago there were 4 all working on the same plant! I released some early in the season, but most of them moved on. Now the local ladies are moving in on their own.

I took the time today to hand pollinate each of my plants. Took a ton of extra time on the chinenses. I started with the purple bhut and fataliis because the pollen was abundant on those two. I then used the same little brush to pollinate every chinense in the garden. No telling what kind of crosses might arise from this effort??? Wasn't really the point. I will save seeds from some I isolate later. I just wanted to try to get some more pod action! The Douglah and Infinity also had abundant pollen and 1 pod has already set on the Douglah! Still to small for a good photo, but by next weekend I hope its big enough to show off (if it stays stuck)!

I shot a vid today of the garden, didn't really like how it turned out so I will do a few before and afters instead!

Wow looking great man. That purple bhut is the poster child for a Bhut plant. I didn't even read the description and could tell it was a Bhut. Tons of plants and pods man, you got great things going.
