food t0mato's trials

I've neglected this thing for wayyyy too long.

Here's a little bit of pork roast with some green beans and yukon potatoes.

Cheers!

The kitchen here is seriously unequipped. The only things in the pantry were salt, pepper and about a tablespoon of olive oil. That's not much of a problem because I got some fresh herbs at the store. The stove needs to be lit with a match and the stovetop only works partially while the oven is in use. On another note the stovetop only works on high. So I've been double boiling everything to prevent food from burning to a crisp. Oy vey.

As far as heat in my dishes I'm afraid there won't be much of that. Unlike myself, my wife Chelsea hates spicy food. I think I might try to sneak in some Serrano the next time I cook dinner.

That pork looked great cooked perfect nice and juicy. Awesome job on that cooker like cooking on a old camp stove.  To bad about the hot sauce . I feel your pain. Now eat and go get a nice tall brew!!
