I need a green house so I can keep my plants outside. Not enough room for them in basement and can't afford more lights right now. Everyone over crowded.

Maybe I should go to home depot and just buy some thick plastic and frame something up.

The one I picked up was off CL. But they sell the same one at tractor supply for $100. Guy advertised it as 10x8x8 but it's actually 10x6.5x7.5 I think. All the reviews say the frame is great but the plastic only holds up one season. Frame is solid and I feel I can get a lot of years out of it. New better plastic is only $20 @ Home Depot for 6mil 10x25 clear poly. But if you already have some kind of frame even like a large tent you could wrap in poly for cheap.

I was thinking about wrapping my firewood bin in plastic.

That will work, just make sure to have a couple vents for hot air. I was really surprised how quickly mine heated up. Like mentioned it was mid 40's outside and mid 80's in the greenhouse. Peppers we're loving it. Cheers

Nice, take long to harden off?
Only had it up a few days but I think the plastic is perfect to harden plants off with. It filters out a little more light then clear poly, plants so far seem to be really enjoying it. I def notice a difference in appearance in just a few days of being in real light. Knock on wood I don't think I will have any sunburn. But they were also all under strong light. Once it's warm enough I will take the peppers out and probably grow some tomatoes and cukes in it to keep the rain off them.

Also it gets hot, it was 50 here yesterday and with both vents open and a box fan hanging from the ceiling on medium it was a perfect 78F. without the vents open and fan it would probably cook them..lol
