food The Drunken Chef

Yeah, I missed it too! CJ nor I have ever had DF pickles. These pics are making our mouths water. I think we might have to try this. Thanks Impy!

Some eats I made the last couple days. Oh, and the latest box o' wine.

Some braised Korean Bbq short ribs.

100_9810.jpg

PA Style Goulash. This is nothing like the Hungarian Goulash with all the paprika etc. This is more like a poor man's lasagne. Mine is a little kicked up and includes pepperoni and hot Italian sausage which are not the norm.

And finally a pork loin that I brined for two days then added my steak and rib rub, then seared before roasting.

Cheers.

Jay, my parents and grandparents are all bo-hunks. My great grandparents came over from the old country turn of the century-ish. Forget what anyone says about "authentic" goulash. Yours is as close to the real thing as anyone's, excepting the paprika. Real goulash is simply a slow cooked stew that can have either/or dumplings, potato's, pasta, veggie's, just about any kind of meat etc. Its peasant food made with whatever is around. Damn, now I want some goulash. Better get my bo-hunk on.

The looks of it kind of remind me of a "taco casserole" I've had at many a potluck dinner when I lived in TX (using quotes because noodles don't = same as tortillas.) Different flavor, of course, but similar appearance and probably just as yummy!

I should have had breakfast before peaking here. Damn that looks awesome. Did anyone get the license plate of that semi that ran me over last night? I remember 101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101010101
Thanks for the fun!

I want that pork. NOW.

Typo, sugar... Error: Malformed binary. Your binary code is must be divisible by 8.

why do you need a translator

back when I was in middle school me and my friends would pass around notes in binary, teachers would be like WTF are these kids doing

I also had a watch that was a programmable remote control for television sets, and I would turn them things on and off during class, once again teachers would be like WTF

:nerd:

Back when I was in middle school, NO ONE had a hand-held calculator, let alone knew what binary was. WE learned ASL, and talked to each other during class that way. And NO watches were digital..... we actually learned how to tell time the real way!

Hmm

Guess that makes me an old fart, to you...

I remember 8th grade when the TI-83 Plus came out and I started using it for Geometry

I also remember when I was in 10th grade calculus, we were not allowed to use the new TI-92 for the SAT's because it would basically solve the math problems for us

I still got a 1360 on them things, like a bawsss

on another note
