food The Drunken Chef

So let me get this straight, two hours of talking about how awesome of a meal you are going to make, and you show one piece of Swiss cheese with a little mustard on it? Yep. That is Drunken Chef. I have done it myself many times.

Negative.

Not Drunken Chef style.

That is PMD style.

Here's some DC for ya, got some sweet Italian sausage from the local grocery for .99lb. Sure, it was nearly out of date, but what the heck. I can work with this. So, I decided first to save queso (see other thread) and then use the rest to make some kick-azz sausage sandwiches. First I poached them a bit in some beer until it evaporated then, added some oil and browned them. Then I pulled them out and sauteed some onions and peppers. The sandwich is an Italian roll, two links, peppers and onions, Nathan's spicy mustard, HH81's pineapple yellow 7-pot sauce, and monterey jack cheese. The drink is wodka, cherry juice, and Sierra Mist.

I like to be liking the snag sammich.

Scheeze could be a touch more melty but I still rate it unquestionably CHINGON!

And that 'drank....

More or less a Shirley Temple but with vodka huh?

Oh my god! them snausages are done perfectly. Thats exactly how I do it too evaporate beer etc.
sometimes I'll throw onions in the beer too, and sauté with links when beer is gone.

damm fine grub there Sugar Bear.

I have to concur, even more so now over a period of time ... the JT house cuisine is quite similar to ours ...

Sadly, it used to be similar to mine as well.

Those were the good ol' days back then.

These days I eat like a caribou.

Eating lichens and frozen tundra.

Did Scovie just address Jay as "sugar bear"?

Just what kine' o' what the fackery is goin' on up in this joint?

I am wiping a lone tear away that I shed for you TB. I remember fondly the days of you making tablefuls of deep fried shrimp and sweet nuthins. Washing it down with cases of BL and Hornitas. Ahh those were the days.

Don't just auto-ignore the question.

What is this "sugar bear" 'thang?

Better not be any tomfoolishnessessess or bromantic lovey dovey sheeit goin' on.

I mean it!

Honey Boo Boo, I am sorry, but that looks a little more like you than me. Actually, it looks a little like Sethsquatch. Nothing like me.

I got nuthin' tonight.

Maybe a tomato onion jalapeno sammich on Mrs. Baird's 100% whole wheat.

Maybe extry splooges of sriracha on there too.

I'm done cheffing for the day.

I gotta' go and find Muddy Waters now.
