food The Drunken Chef

That's also an opportunity to practice medicine without a license. You won't have to worry about malpractice insurance either, because most of the people who come to you will be gang bangers, hookers, pimps, and mobsters and THE TB, who all want everything on the DL.

Ouch!

I heard battle scars make panties drop.

True Story.

[I hope you told her it was a Ninja attack that you fended off with valor and honor, and not a Caddy door that got the best of you. No worries... I won't tell.]

Caddy is fine. It's mrs. blues car anyway so it always has rainbows and sunshine belching out of the exhaust pipe. Sometimes Skittles too. It also has a protective force field powered by unicorns and pixie dust.

I'm pretty sure that the car doesn't like me. Now I understand the rules of the game of car vs. TB and that the vehicle was sending me a clear cut message about who was boss of whom.

I've got 2 gallons of gasoline in the garage along with a propane flame thrower. If that car so much as blinks a windshield wiper at I swear I will send it to a burning hell!

Sorry to hear of the car damages, TB. Hate to change the subject, but I gots some CURRY to post!

Missed the last TD while in Albq and the only decent meal the Kid and I had the whole trip was Monday at a California Pizza Kitchen. The final straw was not being able to get a hamburger at the McDonalds drive-up window at 1:00am because we walked up and didn't have a car. I lost it.. i don't think the Kid has ever heard me talk like that....what a loada crap!

And then I get home and have to look at all the curry td pics.....This Just Ain't FAIR!~!!!

A'ight, no problem...if I can't find a decent meal anywhere...I'll just Do It Myself!!!

PIC1 inspired Scallop and Shrimp Curry!
coconut milk, sambal, and red curry paste and some Sethsquatch powder, (cuz it was out on the counter)
zucchini, green onion, and yellow bell pepper sauteed in hot chile, sesame, and grapeseed oil then tossed into the coconut mix (grapeseed because that just happened to be what was in the cupboard)
scallops and shrimp sauteed in more oils, then tossed in
top with grape tomatoes and green onions (damn, forgot the sesame seeds! Oh Well~)
yea, I cheated with the rice cooker too...sue me :P

His, Hers and The Kid's plates! Notice the "Kid's plate is basically rice and seafood, no sauce ("It's too hot" )

No, JayT, the kid and I got into Spokane at 12:00 midnight on Monday, by the time we got the shuttle to the hotel, checked in, etc, it was 1 am. We hadn't had anything to eat since lunch and McD's was right accross the street with a big banner "Open 24/7".

Me when the Food Demons hit = not a pretty sight.

And yea, Scovie, that was Wednesday's dinner. Just finally getting it posted.

I think I've had something every day since the TD with some curry on it! I'm addicted to that jamaican stuff....it has a really light, fresh flavor that I can't get enough of right now! But I think if I posted up some pics of my fried curry tofu bites up in here, I'd get lynched!!!!!!

naw, you'd be OK, after all, TB is famous for his SoyRizo Queso Dip! He LOOOOVED it, said it was the Best Ever!

Great minds think alike, JT. I almost did wings today, but instead decided to start using up stuff in my freezer. Today I found some leftover ground spiced lamb from some throwdown ago. Heated up some bacon fat and tossed it in... then grabbed my curry seasonings that were still left out. BOOM!

Tried to make simple tacos with my leftover papad, but those things couldn't handle this awesomeness. Ended up eating it the way it should have been done in the first place. Finger pinch by finger pinch.

Beer me a beer.
