We're DC'ing tonight ... but since we had to replace our crock pot, dinner won't be served for another 3 or 4 hours, so I've got a while to get the Big Lebowskiesque event I've been looking forward to for a while ... White Russians for dessert tonight!

we've determined through trial and error that the Knorr's Goulash packet is the best one - but only if you are going to reduce it and thicken it up to a gravy w/ some corn starch ...

and then finally with onions and a little bit of that italian herb grinder medley thing most grocery stores have these days ...



time to work for a while, but totally looking forward to the smell ... maybe even the smell that awakens me from a nap (god, i hope i can nap) ...

Best way to DC evar, btw ... do all the tedious crap while you're dead sober ... and it's just there and perfect when you're hammered ...

there's no need to stomp bold flavor on things like mac 'n cheese, steak and potatoes, or crock pot shoulder chunks ...

i feel similarly about matzoh ball soup, chicken and dumplings, and ravioli too ...

it's true though, i'm not big in texas ...

This thread is about as stable as an alcoholic ... it can't decide if it wants to be for responsible drinking or for shit-faced debauchery ... for fatty, diner style food ... or for wheat and seafood burrito's ...

It won't matter later though, because I slam white russians made with lactaid milk and half and half like chocolate milk ...

... I just won't weigh in tomorrow morning and there'll be nothing but a mignon and a salad before I do on Monday!
