food The Drunken Chef

Alright here is how it is going to thrown down a little later. I ahve already started on the road to drunkeness through the use of homebrew and am now sucking on pre-mix wild turkey.

The menu-

Viking cutlet with melted Bih infused cheese w/ side of salad.

The salad will consist of iceberg lettuce, red and green sweet peppers, spanish onion, white onion, garlic, mushrooms, jalapeno stuffed green olives and dry fried diced bacon.
Dressing will be good old Italian.

For the missus it will be grilled chicken breast (as she does not eat red meat) minus the Bih infused cheese w/ salad.

Now in true drunken tradition i must get to some serious drankin if i am to be sh!tfaced whilst cooking, oh yeah i gotta brew some stout too.

Well, since I am intermission on the naga suicide, I decided a sandwich was in order. This is a toasted roast beef sandwich. I took french bread drizzled it with olive oil sprinkled with garlic powder, sea salt and black pepper and put it in the oven. Then spread on mayo and horseradish, piled on the roast beef more s/p slices of havarti and under the broiler it went. Finally a little pepper powder and some homemade habanero dill pickles.

Poppers are chillin' in the freeze. Shrimps are rinsed and ready to peel. Saving the shells for a shrimp reduction. Dutch gettin' hot! I have abandoned teh tequila in favor of mezcal....so smoky.. I love it loooong time. Duckfarts with mezcal are happnin'! Piccy's manana.

Nova my man! I just want to throw that whole plate in a feedbag and mow on it! Beautiful! You sir should post stuff like that much more often. Jump back and kiss yo' 'sef two times!

To start last eve's festivities in The Blues Kitchen, we began with a little twist on the Mexican duckfart. Sub mezcal for the tequila. Adds a wonderful smoky touch. Mellow down easy with a few of these!!

Good stuff Fellers! Meat loaf on the smoker... mmmmmm.

JT - the sandwich looks great, I use toasted garlic bread on my roast beef sandwiches, puts a different twist on the sandwich & tastes good.

nova - I was drooling at just the onions & meat on the plate pic, the final looks great!
