Hey your loss CH those smokies were a hit at the party! More mayhem cookin' up right now. Pineapple Naga Southern Style Ribs in the cast iron as we speak!!!

Ok this is a total combination of flavors. I started with a simple marinade of McCormicks Hawaiian Luau powder, then added cider vinegar, canola oil, Roland's Pineapple Chile sauce, and a fresh naga morich. Marinated for about 8 hrs, then put in the cast iron and sprinkled with my rib rub, and 7 pepper blend. When they were almost finished I added a brushing of my fatalii bbq sauce.

Damn jay! Those country style cuts of rib? Big thick honkin' 'thangs? Even mrs. blues likes those. I have no foo foo to post this evening. All I have are the tamales yet to be rolled up and steamed.

Crawfish!!!

I am posting this for your viewing pleasure in the drunken chef for very obvious reasons:

Last night, we were drinking rot-gut whiskey shots, quality vodka bloody mary's, Killians Red, and the oh-so-familiar....Keystone Light. Fun was had by one and all.....oh yes...and we managed to do a wee bit of cooking! Here are the ingreadients for the mud-bug blitz:

We did a GIANT pot full of steamed crawfish and a really spicy crawfish corn chowder.......some pre-stuffed crabs, and finally.....some store-bought crab cakes with a remoulade sauce.
