Yesterday consisted of drinking alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll day. Getting my St Pattys day celebration done a little early, as I suspect some others are too due to falling on a tuesday. I brewed an Irish Stout for the occasion, so I had about 6 of these by 1:00pm when I started to cook some corned beef.
 
Corned beef also made with the Irish stout.

I dunno, if you have seen one corned beef you've seen em all. Nothing fancy at all about itl. Just corned beef, vegetarian shepards pie, and cabbage. But I swear it was all soooo good

Is that a pan sear on it? I like that. Before or after?

No intentional sear. I think the ends got inadvertently seared touching the Dutch oven walls though perhaps. Though, that would be a good idea

I keep forgetting the bottle of fireball I have in the deep freezer.  I have that one set so low it turns into fireball slushy.

Dinner is served. Grilled/smoked chicken, biscuit, black beans, artichoke boiled in water, vinegar, salt, pepper, basil and garlic olive oil, fireball and a mango medicine stick.

I debated the burger thread, but the joes were made under the influence so I posted here.  By the time these were done all the beers were indeed gone and I was drinking this (pic taken the next morning):
