Alcoholic, creative, complements the meal/matches theme of meal... same as you'd chef a meal... toasted coconut shrimp, pina colada? But be original, or use lots of fresh ingreds. Etc. Up to you.

Yeah, just make sure it's really a drink - looks like a drink, sips like a drink, etc. The one that looked like straight salsa poured into a shot glass didn't fare too well in the votes.

Sept is Grillin' & Chillin'! We do it every summer. ANYTHING off the grill and a thematic beverage.

Okay??

Playing loose and fast with the rules.... right up my alley.

Maybe.

Has to be alcoholic?

I've seen horchata made (SumOfMyBits) and I forget if he won, or turned it alcoholic.

A milkshake could be a winner with a burger, I love a good cheeseburger basket with a vanilla milkshake.

There is no real answer. Just do what you do...

I am having a really hard time deciding what to do. There are so many options. I think I will go to my favorite meat and seafood mongers and see what appeals to me and go from there. I went shopping tonight for a new grill and did some more research on the BGE/Kamono Joe and decided I am def going with the BGE, but am not ready to buy just yet as I am going with the XL. I am hoping for an end of season sale later this month. It seems that I may be lucking into an $800 very slightly used Webber for a couple hundred bucks in the meantime. Old man I know says he hasn't used it for the last two years since his wife died and wants to get rid of it. He said he had it for a year or so and used it less than ten times. It has been sitting covered for the last two years. He still has the warranty paperwork and everything. Hard to pass this one up.

I've learned my lesson as per settling on one 'thang and really wanting another.

Save your $$ and forget the Weber.

Eventually you'll get the BGE and then the onliest thang coming off the Weber will be tumbleweeds and cobwebs

in addition to taking up valuable real estate.

On another note as per what to cook....

Currently torn between salmon and halibut.

Going all Alaskan with possible Duck Fart's involved.

Listen the The TB...

Save the $200 and put it toward the BGE. Why settle and spend money that could go toward it just delaying it further?

I am pretty sure I am getting both. I went today to check out the BGE and found out they are having an "Egg Fest" Oct 3. I can buy one of the demo models that day for 15% off which is a little over $200 off. Its going to cost me around $1200 if I buy it then, and that is for the XL. I will still have some accessories to buy, but they can wait. I will have the egg and the nest. That's all I need to get started. As for the Weber, it's too good of a deal to pass up.

I approve, next up for me is the 26x Weber Kettle :)

I am going to meet with the guy tonight to hopefully buy the weber. Not sure which one it is, but he paid $600 for it. The ones that were $600 three to four years ago are $800 now. I know I am getting a good deal. My dad had a Weber similar that lasted more than ten years.
