I could see myself voting for this. Too bad you missed the extended deadline. To me Super Bowl food can't be heavy, it has to be light so you can eat 50, not 5, and these light, puffy balls of wings look seriously AWESOME!

I liked your poppers! Was a toss up for me as to whether or not to go with yours or LB's Nachos...poppers and Nachos are Superbowl essentials! Really liked your cooking method, cool and inventive!Congrats on the crown Shane. I'm not surprised my regular poppers didn't get a vote next to your uber poppers, they were amazing!

I didn't say this earlier because I didn't want to hurt my chances of bringing home the big crown 
The cooking method I used... suspending the poppers in the oven.. didn't crisp up the bacon
I did a few half poppers sitting on some foil and the bacon touching the foil cooked better. Could be because my oven doesn't have any numbers left on the dials so you just have to guess, and the door doesn't close all the way. 
But next time I'll just sit them down

For my "Armadillo Egg" style poppers I use my...Armadillo!
My son made these...pretty good first effort! Just needed more BACON!!!
