Just a thought , but  can we get  a separate POL for the dough.   I am hoping to get in on this one , but I like to do a fairly long ferment on the dough.   4 -5 days at least.

You probably don't - we've seen how you can cook. I think we just have a fairly large number of pizza purists here - I won't ever win a pizza TD in no small part because I don't care for (and so won't make) a more "traditional" pizza. However, I like the heck out of the ways I make pizza. Your pizzas being a bit different don't make them suck, they're just different. Boss said there will be multiple crowns - there may be a category outside of the norm up for grabs.

Ashen, you don't need a PoL for every picture. 
 
I can't speak for sure for The Boss, but there have been TD's in the past where we can prep/brine/marinate ahead of time.  Making bread, or pizza dough in this case, could qualify.  Since we all know the TD ahead of time, you should be OK to start the dough ahead of time as long as it's cooked during the TD time frame with appropriate PoL in either your prep pics or presentation pic.
 
I think he is asking so he can post detailed pics... but prove they were for the TD.
 
I thought maybe a detailed breakdown on the dough making process would be part of the TD.  If it is considered just an ingredient , that is cool.   Either way I am starting mine later today, Sunday night.  If that disqualifies for the TD , I will just post up in the pizza thread instead. .    ( after seeing some of the pies essegi , cypresshill  , freeportbum and others have been putting out  I would just be in it for the fun anyway )

Disclaimer-
I'm not The Boss here on THP, and I didn't stay at a holiday Inn Express last night...but it sounds like The Boss is amenable to and willing to work with your dough dilemma.
 
It's true that you can prep and the only requirement is cooking during the timeframe, people have even smoked goods like sausage to use in or on the main dish. Which is fine too. That takes a long time and the main dish is cooked for the TD and proven with PoL.
 
With that said, please still show the prep pics of the dough. I don't think I need to confuse people with an extra PoL, but don't let that stop you from showing the entire process when it starts. I mean if someone made a dough like you and didn't see the "first" PoL, that would then not be fair, even though is it, get me? LOL.
 
PoL is only needed in a group pic of all (most) the ingredients (which can be your finished dough), or one plating pic.

PS. JayT fixed his camera, so watch out. He makes killer pies too!
 
You could also just write down on a piece of paper something like "THP PoL, 11/30/14 for Pizza TD" and put it in the pics so when you post them we'll know you didn't steal Joyner's crust pics. LOL

How many pics are you going to allow?  I would hate to waste pics on making dough, I think we have all shown that process enough times.

You'll see when it's posted, that's when I figure everything out. And no pic will be wasted you can post a shit-ton of unofficial pics as you know. Isn't that the fun? Watching someone's process?

He was using some 70s vinatge Kodak film from his freezer, that's why he was worried about wasting pics. So now since I didn't answer, he'll just use his normal camera. :lol:

See if this applies:
 
Some reviews have said you can't save settings when you shut off the camera but that is not completely true. If you shoot in PASM modes it will save your settings in those modes even if you switch modes or shut off the camera. While it may not save settings in "scenes" and special features (like shooting fireworks or sunsets) those are preset anyway as soon as you dial to them.
