Ahh the ubiquitous skin flute.  Difficult to play for sure, but harder to cook or handle well...
 
If we're voting (cause we're not) I'd recommend a true summer time TD.  One that doesn't focus on a dish per se but a meal.  First Friday of the month is the 3rd....
 
Family reunion dishes?  I will totally fuct you all up with my nana's jello salad.
