Shanks Chris.

I didn't list it but a healthy dose of Mexican oregano was in there too.

Next time I reckon I'll let the fish and spices marinade over night.

Don't know why I never made chorizo with fish before but this ones a keeper fo' sho'!
I would how it would be stuffed into a casing and made into fish sausage then smoked and grilled!

So is the #martinsrolls too small or the #jumbo #lump#crabcake too big? #goodeats #foodporn#joynershotpepperpowders

Oh damn.

Thats ALL the wasabi you got with that?

I would want that square dish completely full of wasabi.

That looks like enough food for 2 people easy but I'd take a shot at the title and try and eat it all.

Those head on peel-n-eat shrimps give me a boner.

Don't tell Chris/JHP that though or he'll SPAM me with shrimp porn.

(like thats a bad thing)

My wife and I had dinner, children only eat very little, they had their fish nuggets. The wasabi was just for me. Then prepare more because I fail.

You asked and you shall receive!

I told you my pics won't upload here as is.  It is saying they are too big, so I have to take them to photobucket and resize them.  I take them from 660X440 to 500X300 and this is what results.  I have no idea.  Something is wrong, my pics were never too big before, but they are now, both on my phone and camera.  Same phone, same camera.

bought some tails just so i could participate ... i've only fixed lobster once previously, like 15 yrs ago in key west ... let's say it wasn't the best lobster i've ever had, closer to the other end of the spectrum!

anyways, going to do some other bbq tomorrow, thought i'd cook the tails on the hot coals right after i transfer from a pair of chimney's ...

so, i'm going to snip the shell down to tail, but not through it ...
then crack it in my palm and carefully remove meat, give it little clarified butter and trace of smoked paprika, and re-stuff mean and then spray a little pam and grill meat side for two mins and then flip and cook couple more mins until opaque and shell's turned ..

any improvements or suggestions? necessary to remove meat and replace after snip? don't remember doing that that one time in the past ... then again, maybe that's why it wasn't good, too ;)

cheers!

The 'thang about lobster on the grill, broiler, oven, saute', et.al, is to not over cook it.

2 minutes butterflied and meat side down on a hot grill is waaaay too much.

Think of it as a bigass shrimp.

I'd cook that medium rare to medium and let the residual heat do the rest.

Thanks, I'm about to fill up the chimney starters so I'll take some pics to share after a couple of hours! ...
