Yeah, we get below freezing temps. We get in the sub-zero (F) area a couple of times.

Last year, I had a nice galvanized 35 gallon garbage can that the water ran into. Worked great. It split a couple of weeks ago. :(

I can use tap water - it's real cheap and what I try to do is let it sit for a day or two to allow the chlorine to dissipate. Just need to get use to 20 gallons a week rather than the 4-5 I used last year.

Same here Tom I'm not growing as many this year because to be honest I don't have the time and so many things seem to get in the way. I hope everything's OK your way.
 
Thanks RB. Thinks are ok here. the factors of not growing much are 1 I still have a ton of dehydrated pods from last yr 2
I plan on growing some tomato's and Cuc's 3 time and money
