they both have their uses! i am no a fan of the yellow 7 flavor, i like other yellow pods just not the 7. i really like the red 7's and the scorps are great to cook with. i know this does not help you but its my 2cents

I'm partial to the Yellow Scorp. It was my first super and the only thing that has come close to the flavor was a Douglah x 7 interestingly. I am growing a ton of 7s this year and I will probably get a much stronger opinion this summer.
