Tyler's 2021 Glog

So I couldn't wait any longer and decided to get the mix out set up the seed greenhouse and get a move on 2021. This year is gonna be the earliest I've ever started seeds for the season, so we should have some monsters by the time we plant out around Mothers Day. This year we have a nice variety and we got some science experiments to play with. That will come later on so just wait and see what I have in store. Unless noted I only used 1 cell per variety. We're going to go a full on container grow this year due to the house I currently rent has little to no yardage being in the suburbs, so we'll make due with buckets and fabric pots. I did a few 5 gallon plants before and they always came out beautiful so we shall see what this year brings with a whole bunch of containers. We got seeds from Sandia seeds, Texas hot peppers, white hot peppers, ebay "we'll see what happens lol", some were in storage from 2015/16 and then I got a nice selection of some crosses and the wilds and a few others from the great mega seed train of 2020/21. All the vendors mentioned were great. Shipping was fast even with the pandemic and have no complaints. Ordered double of white habanero from Sandia on accident asked to cancel one and get a extra dragon's breath instead and they said no problem. My order with the double white habanero came, I thought they forgot to switch.. 2 days later a whole other bubble envelope came with a lone package of dragon's breath. They get super props for that and hence this shout out. Sandia seeds was great and their seeds are fairly inexpensive. Check them out.

The picture of the whole bucket plot really doesn't do them justice. To better explain. I'm 6ft tall and most plants are at least up to my chin and most have to be about 3+ feet wide.

Well pictures are working now. Like I said earlier plants have gotten huge. Some of the biggest I've ever grown. I know to some of you pros they are kinda small but this is definitely a accomplishment for me! All plants are covered in pods but only have gotten 4 or so ripe peppers so far. Probably all gonna ripen at the same time lol. Whose going to bowers this year?
Nobody but nobody would call those small and should take your hat of to yourself and grap a beer you my friend have green fingers and be proud of your grow it's great.🙂👍

Looks good, Ty.
Are the pods in the second pic Scorpions?

Nice score on the ProMix. Any chance you
could stuff one in a FRB and send it to the
PNW?

I didn't plant any scorpions this year. The only ones that should have tails I planted were primos and red, yellow and chocolate reapers. I'm thinking it's just a normal Reaper but we shall see when they ripen. All my tags and plot diagrams got messed up when I moved them to the back yard so until everything ripens it's all pretty much a guessing game.

So we got 3 aji cito today, 1 orange bbg7 that had a sun scalled type blotch so picked it before the calyx changed fully to taste it, 1 Death spiral and the last picture of the peachy looking one I don't know what it is but it's definitely a C. Chinense IT WAS HOT. Stay tuned for bucket fulls ripening has commenced 🤙🌶🔥

Only peaches that were in the grow were peach ghost jami and reg peach ghost. Doesn't quite give me the impression of either and I have a plant that looks identical to peach ghost jami pods so that's pretty ruled out. Any ideas?
