Something to say about first impressions. Early in the morning on the 5th I had seen Booma’s creation. That image stuck in my head all day. I literally could not get that burger out of my mind. Cooked to perfection it was some serious food porn to me. I knew right then I would be voting for that burger.
 
Then muskymojo with his Walleye Burger and Jalapeno tarter! I love when they say “and some seasonings” Yeah, tell us exactly what seasonings.   Boy ol boy that looked good, and I really wanted to taste that baby.
 
With that said I wouldn't turn a single one of you away at my barbecue.  Great job everyone.

My mind is made up about one category, but still undecided about the other. One of my own preferences is no lettuce or tomatoe on a burger, so while I appreciate that many people like that, it easily eliminated several for me. Still, fine entries by all!

Really awesome burgers all around! I would smash every single one of them.

D3 will get my vote for his brisket and pancetta burger. There is so much awesome going on with it I can easily overlook the fact that it was cooked well done. Big props for the custom grind and homemade buns too.

I'm having a really hard time picking a beef burger though. I've been ready to hit the vote button about 4 times already, and each time I'm leaning toward a different burger. I'm going to have to ponder that one a bit longer.
