music What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I, and most my friends, got into the NWOBH movement when it first began. Mainly from tape trading. We were lucky out here in the SF Bay Area, because of a couple record stores that opened up early on. The Record Vault in SF and The Record Exchange in Walnut Creek (a SF suburb)

I'm now listening to Mythra - the Death and Destiny 7"

It's a rockabilly thing...;)

They used to have a southern white trash recipe section on their web page. If I remember right, my white trash wife may have tried some of them out. And I lived through it.....

WHOA! What a day for music. BW - thanks for introducing me to Paradise Lost. I'd heard of them before but never got round to listening - glad I did!
CP - thanks for reminding me about Captain Beyond - it's been so long since I heard them I'd totally forgotten them. How could you forget a band that good?

Badger: Always happy to spread the word of Paradise Lost. I'm surprised you didn't know them before being from your home country and all. Most of their albums differ greatly in musical direction/genre from one to the next so heads up on that if you're checking them out.

N_FF - I like Arch Enemy, didn't get too much into them buy man, I've never heard a female vocalist pull off that kind of death growling!

Me too! I'd seen them in Kerrang! and Metalhammer but never checked them out. Wish I had years ago - they're bloody excellent! Currently listening to a bit of my favourite New Yorkers
