Rinaldo AND Ernesto? So envious, I somehow missed picking up either and I hear they're amazing! Seriously considering hunting up Dester next year, too. And thanks for the reminder about Frog's Leap Farm, I completely forgot to check them this year.

Costoluto Fiorentino

I almost popped one of the Costolutos on my list but went with Russo Togeta Sicilian instead. You guys are slowly convincing me I need to start another tray of seedlings, just a few more, c'mon it's not like I'm already out of space. What can one more tray hurt?

Add Heidi, Opalka, Woolly Green Zebra, Green Zebra, and Lime Green Salad to my list!

How can you resist those cute little tomatoes, until you taste them.  Granted, I did get a million tomatoes off of two plants. The variety I ordered this year is Medovaja Kapiyia.

I agree. They look neat but I thought they had no taste. I'm interested in knowing how the Medovaja Kapiyia tastes.

Never tried them.  When I get my seeds I can send you a few to try.  Sandhill takes a while to send out your seeds.  They have the old fashioned system.
Mail order only.

Giant Tomatoes this year! First Mega bloom on the way.

Hello everyone. Newbie here. This will be my second year growing tomatoes. I grew Roma and Mortgage Lifters last year and had a decent harvest. I plan to grow the same this year with hopefully a few more types added to the list. Not sure which, haven't really decided yet.

ThePepperTrent, I grew the Rutgers last year. It is a solid performer and had good yields of 3-4" round tasty tomatoes. For more information check out this link.

I've just got some seedlings coing up, they are called Rutgers Tomato. I personally have not grown them but eager to see what comes of it this year. Has anyone grown this variety?

This year, with the help of God, will grow these:

OSU
Amana naranja
White tomesol
Balazote
Carbon
Rosado Albacete
White beauty
Tomate de colgar malacara
Green zebra
Brandy wine
Cherokee purple
Saint Pierre
Narvik
Adonis
Gruzanski zlatni
"Huge" - got the seeds from someone in a village
Oxheart - local?
"Flat" tomato - got the seeds from someone in another village
"Big tomato" - got the seeds from someone in another village
"medium green" - from tomato I bought in a supermarket

I received the seeds for Medovaja Kapiyia if anyone want to try some, send me a pm.  There's a lot of seeds in the packet.  More than I will ever use.
USA only.

this year I am growing Juliet (or tomatoberry not sure which-I planted both.) Also growing San Marzano and perhaps Cherokee purple and Rio Grande. I could grow others, I just haven't purchased them yet. the Juliet (tomatoberry) and San Marzanos are already growing.

Black Krim (2 plants)
Watermelon Beefsteak, potato leaf (1 plant)
Cherokee purple (1 plant)
Big Boy (3 plants)
Super Sweet 100 (1 plant)
Maybe one more for the garden. The cherry will be in a pot.
