Hey ya'll. Here comes the mojofication. I picked up some beautiful quail at my new favorite nosuchgourmand store yesterday.
I hit 'em wit Lawry's and pequin/black pepper and pan seared the birds. Roasted some garlic, reduced some balsamic...'Lawd have mercy that's good stuff!! Fried some fingerling pots. Good 'Gawd ya'll it was like heroin!

What a great way to warm back up.

I've been in the back yard freezing my ass off, destroying two cans of potato salad.

....you know, I bet that sentence above has never been uttered in the entire history of man.....:rofl:

Basically it's any cheese in a twin pack, as Tasmanians are known to have 2 heads. Seriously though it's just Extra Tasty Cheddar that happens to be made in Tasmania.
 
LUNCH

Here is what I'm having for lunch....

Shrimp and Rice noodles tossed with Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce.

The heat level isn't enough to melt your face off, but it is enough to wet your brow with sweat. :lol:

On Monday's my wife doesn't get home from work until 9pm, therefore, that is the night for me to experiment. Last week I saw pre-cooked wings - Hot and Sweet - I didn't buy them but decided to try a batch of my own last night. I used two commercial hot sauces, stirred in some of my bhut powder, then for the sweet I decided to try honey. I mixed in the wings into the bowl with all the sauces, and put them in a frying pan. Smelled great - didn't taste so great, and today my lower intestines are a bit painful ... my butt is a lot painful. I usually don't get this type of reaction ... lesson learned - don't do that again.
