What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

And how did it turn out?

I was in the mood for wings, but wasn't going to do anything fancy, just wanted something quick using what was in the house. Baked the wings in the oven with a dry rub of cayenne, Death Rain, pepper, and bih jolokia powder (from Muso2112). Took them out and coated with Cap'n's savina sauce. Pretty good for a quick meal.

yeah hopefully.. .the fumes alone should be enough to knock me out.. but the way I've been sleeping lately... it is possible the whole bucket could be gone by morning... not likely but possible.. Mr Mel has declared the bucket mix rancid.. but thats not to say he wont attempt it whilst i'm asleep (fingers crossed... for sleep that is.. not for him eating all my slushie.. )
 
looks a bit harsh to me mate... a double chamber would be much more smooth..

but alas.. not on a school night..
 
Well, I want to give you all a heads up...Pepperfreak's kitchen is in full swing today (since the snow is way too deep for me to attempt with crutches, I might as well cook and eat). I am beginning here since I'm not drinking yet and I'm sure I'll end up in the Drunken Chef when the time come :lol:

Here is what's on the menu for the day:
LUNCH
Spicy New England Clam Chowder
Shrimp Scampi over rice

Dinner
Bacon & caramelized onion Strip Steak
Pasta Pesto
Broccoli and Cauliflower

Oh good, I didn't think I was going to get to see any new food porn today. I have been working on perfecting my stromboli. Here is the latest attempt.

I usually do too, but pasta is for supper. I did find out that if you pour over the scampi sauce, the rice absorbs it like little sponges and ohhhhh, sooooooo good it was.

The steak is all patted down and is resting comfortable along side the bacon. I used my fav rub I made a few weeks back.

That is either a small steak or some HUGE bacon! Can't wait to see where this goes.
 
Hehe yeah why is the steak the same size as a bacon strip? This pic is messing with my minddddd!
