Ha, when i was like 12, I took the dare to do the "big jump"..was about a 90' drop over a 50yd long area and over a fence into a playground.

I made it...sorta..wiped out on landing and still have the scars from it..lol
Damn lucky I wasn't killed..but what did I know then?

But, I was a hero for weeks..well, mom kicked my ass for ruining the Sunday Good Corduroys with blood and such....hahaha.

This was the first bike i owned.

It was a 250cc Kawasaki Eliminator, and it had sports exhaust and i changed the front sprocket from 14 tooth to 15 tooth to get more even torque through the range.

This is my beast now...

It is a Yamaha V-Star XVS1300, 2008 model..and it really makes me smile....:D

This pic is of all my shooting awards over the last few years.

The top shelf are my major National awards, and the bottom shelf is my minor national and all my state awards....

The tallest pile on the right was from a single championship shot over 2 days......

Mine is in my signature. I became addicted to tarantulas a little over three years ago. Didn't know squat about them, never thought twice about them. Youngest son got it all started. Now he doesn't give a rats patootie and I'm breeding them. I've had over 1,000 of them in the house at one time. Here's a couple of pictures of some of my favorites.

This one is a female Brachypelma boehmei, Mexican Fireleg:

This is a female Poecilotheria metallica, Gooty Saphire. Pretty eh?

It is a big expensive car, allright, but that doesn't entitle you to park it in restricted space!!!
1. It's a private work place. :P
2. The car costs here 1,400,000ILS which is US$400,000 by today's currency. it costs less than half in Germany, but here it's like a Ferrari. I *can* park a car as expensive as this wherever I want!

Okay, that sounds like a good explanation to me!
Ha! yay for me...
Anyhow, there's a guy in Haifa with a S65. I'm trying to see if I know someone who knows him. I so wanna try it out! never drove a 2,200,000ILS/US$630,000 car before.:P

BTW to answer the possible question - yes, I do have thing for pricey Mercedes cars. :)

While we're at it, here's one I tried the other day:

All just preparations toward my own purchase - SLK 55 AMG... not there yet, but close!

Nice Mercs. :D The only qualms I have with them is that they are sedans and you can't get them with a proper 6-speed manual. :P I'm sure they're still pretty damn fast though, especially for being such big cars.

I think your $$ numbers are a bit off though.. According to mbusa.com even the SLR starts at $495k. The S65 AMG starts at $195k and I don't see the S500. The SLK55 AMG is at $65k. Still expensive by any means, but for $400-600k, I'd rather get something like this: http://www.tuningnews.net/news/070305c/koenigsegg-ccxr.jpg

http://cars.walla.co.il/ts.cgi?w=/@version&vid=441
The price for the very basic S65 with no addons at all is 2,086,900ILS and 1 US dollar is worth 3.554ILS. do the math. ;)
The import tax alone is 120% here, not to mention all the other taxes... it's not just the Mercedes, all cars are like that here.
