What's your Hobby (Chillis excluded)

That's pretty cool Dave.

I have a heavy cruiser so if there is a snap shot of me doing something like that with my bike, it's because i've just hit something and i'm flying through the air desperately trying to get back on the bike and i'm only milliseconds from my body smacking into the tar.....:scared:

And i'm sure i speak for a good few of us when i say it F&*king really hurts when it happens...:(

Is taking my dad's and rich friend's cars for a spin a hobby? I gotta tell ya, driving a Porsche is pure happiness! the heavier Mercedes (S63 AMG) are fun, too!

Nice pic Dave! My old neighbors were crazy into stunting. Not something I plan on getting into..just want to get a bike and ride.

Here's a pic of me (and my dad) driving a friend of the families' Aston Martin DB7. 6.0 V12 :D It was sad getting back into my car afterwards.

As for my hobbies, I have too many to become great at any.

BEFORE I joined the Navy, I kept many tarantulas, scorpions, some centipedes, and a few snakes..along with some jumping spiders. Had to sell them, all but one snake..a friend is watching that one for me until some undetermined time.

I'm into:

Photography, though I'm learning on my own, so it goes slowly.

Cars/racing/motorcycles (not NASCAR :P ), right now I have an 07 Civic SI. It's bone stock and fast enough for now. Plan on buying a 600ish cc sport bike once I'm finally settled into a place in Norfolk, VA.

Playing guitar, music (mostly metal/hardcore/punk but also classical, jazz, and some underground hip hop)

Trying new beers is a big one for me. So far, I'm up to somewhere between 400 and 500 different beers from around the world. I used to save a bottle of each (if the situation allowed) but when I moved I wound up recycling all but the ones that were limited release.

I'm into graffiti as well..which is where my username comes from. Haven't painted in a long time though.. and haven't been doing as many sketches as I used to. Still trying to hang in there..really would be pissed to lose that skill.

That's about it except now one of my big interests would be warships and their various systems and departments. :D

Not a huge fan of Aston Martin. cost way too much for way too little.
Seriously thinking of getting myself a new car. probably SLK (55 maybe?). yes... the same one you once said has way too much plastic in it. :D

I'm happy with my Skoda, but I don't have much of a choice anyway! :) If I hated it, I'd still keep it.
I actually had a 99' Citroën Berlingo for a while... sad. meh like meh German cars! French cars are wimpy! :D

Most French cars owned by people I know/knew tended to fall apart after a pretty short time, much faster than others. Don't know why, but for some reason, they seem to need far more maintenance. More recent french cars may be better, I can't tell, nobody I know has bought one twice, except for one 2CV maniac who bought a new one every other year.

List of problems with my old Berlingo:
2 broken window mechanisms
1 broken steering oil pump
1 broken carter
2 broken plugs
1 broken disk

and many others I'm just too ashamed of.
STAY THE #%&@! AWAY FROM FRENCH CARS!!!

Thanks, AJ, but I listened to these tunes months ago already. Is there a CD I can buy somewhere or whatever?

we just released the "best of"...let me see what I can do my friend...

Playin and singin in a Country Band, Ridin a Harley Davidson, taking the boat out on the river, and a barbecue in the back yard with the family. Best things in life, make the world turn around just a little bit easier.
