A quali innumerevoli nomi ti riferisci? So che molti hanno nomi soprattutto su FB ;)

Questo è molto comune tra italiani e brasiliani,no?

Clayton 8-10 and you are certainly at 3-4 accounts? I do not want to do a disservice to the Italian language. I know very little. Bring back leo-c and we can chat in english.

To address your question, the variant of C.geminifolium found in Colombia is very different than yours. Soon it will be updated into the Pepperfriends database and you can make your own assumptions. It will have the proper identification though. :liar It's for educational purposes and not status.

It's been a month minus 5 days since I sowed the CAP 1487 seeds. I'm wondering if I should try some new seeds, or leave those for next year. I'm not sure if our short grow season in The Netherlands would benefit a new attempt. What would you all do?

I could give you some jargon that is purely anecdotal about letting seeds dry out alittle, turning off heat at night, etc. I have had things germinate when doing these, but when a seed has been sown for 100+ days,it's bound to germinate and it's why I would suggest you just be patient.

The most important thing when germinating seeds is seed quality. Is that seed shop reliable? The photo of the berry was less than impressive to be honest. If you decide to jump into the deepend,I would suggest you ask people that grow wilds to trade. The problem with vendors is that wild viability quickly deteriorates. If they are not growing yearly or atleast bi-annually,the seeds could be junk.

Good question! I really couldn't say, it was the first time I ordered from them. I noticed they had some wilds and I placed the order for the CAP and another pepper.

I honestly don't know many (let's say 0) people that grow wilds and I'm not quite the one to go asking around when I'm still getting to know a forum. But who knows, maybe next year. Or maybe not, when these seeds decide to spring to life in a month or two, three. 😀

For now, I'll follow the advice on here and have yet some more patience. I'm sure it will be worth it. Right? Haha!
